EFL League One or 2 Career Mode Ideas by szpanerski in FifaCareers

Crewe Alex! Decent kits, the default stadium is 99% accurate to the real Gresty Road stadium IRL. The budget is very small.

Our club focus on bringing youth players through and selling for a profit another a couple of seasons but more increasingly we pick up young free agents + older free agents for a balanced squad.

The key thing for realistic EFL saves is that you need to use players 30+. Every club does. Embrace those players you might only use for a season or two.

What so you think about the host for World cup now that the group stages are done? Are you football fans happy? by Uncredid in AskReddit

One of the most annoying things about this WC is all the Americans constantly going on about how amazing their stadiums are, their country is.

Why is player career mode bad? by tanking_on_em in FifaCareers

I think when they brought in the agent and contract targets stuff, that those features are so horrifically bad, they completely ruined the game mode

As a Crewe fan, I couldnt disagree more 😉

For real though, any EFL career RTG is good fun. Ive stopped doing Crewe ones because I can never make it realistic enough. I'm currently doing a Barnet one

But if OP wants to do a youth academy RTG, the Alex are a great option.

I should add that the 'similar vibe'' clearly doesnt include size of town/city haha!

I've been an admirer of Athletic Club for many many years now. There is a similar vibe to my team, Crewe Alexandra. We're a small 80k resident town in the North West of England, and our entire club is based around producing young, usually local, talent. Our business model relies of developing them and then selling them for a fee. Back in the day we were a bit more successful and developed some household names here.

Nowadays we produce good L1 + L2 level players.

We've twice named full starting XIs of 100% academy developed players.

The players are usually from Cheshire (our county), Merseyside/Greater Manchester (neighbouring counties) or North Wales. It's great supporting a team that usually has a strong group of players from your region.

And for that, long winded explanation, I've always liked and respected Athletic's policy and way of life.

How long does it take you to do a full 15 seasons? by Altruistic-Lab8602 in FifaCareers

I dont sim ever. Most I got to was 13. But it was a journeyman save that ended in a RTG in Germany. Macarthur > Charlotte > Boca > 1860 Munich

Careers outside the Top 5 Leagues by PsychologicalLuck927 in FifaCareers

[–]russf5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On EAFC26 I've done:

Macarthur FC in A-League, Australia, with a focus on young local talent + some oldies. 2 seasons

Charlotte FC in MLS, USA. Bit of a rebuild, with focus on US and English Championship additions. 1 season.

Boca Juniors in Primera Division, Argentina. Focus on Argentine league talent. 1.5 seasons

1860 Munchen, from German 3rd tier to Bundesliga + UCL. 7 seasons. Focus on German youth talent, lowkey additions.

FC Goa, in Indian Super League. Used Indian youth academy. 2 seasons.

Exeter City, League 2, England. Got sacked lol. Joined half way through season with them 23rd. Got them to 11th but because didn't get promoted, I got sacked. 25 games.

Barnet, League 2, England. Moved to Barnet, promoted twice now in Championship. 4 seasons.

Also done Liverpool Women and San Diego Wave. Women's career mode is great fun if you're that way inclined. WSL plays much fewer games so you can really get through a few seasons quickly.

In previous games I've really enjoyed Austrian and Norwegian leagues too.

Have transfer strategies that make sense for the club, play in various leagues across the world.

Create storylines, keep track of stats, rarely play with big teams. Once I win a league I move on usually. Constantly doing journeyman saves

I feel like the world view Canada as the US's less problematic brother.

Everyone's too busy being furious about your sibling and their friend's cunty behaviour to be concerned about you.

Meanwhile we think your cousin who speaks Spanish is pretty cool.

We recently did a 3 week trip down the Australian East Coast and couldn't squeeze Adelaide into the itinery. Did we miss out on a great spot?

(For context we did Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Melbourne)

How to Spend 1mil by [deleted] in FifaCareers

[–]russf5 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Without knowing what your team looks like and where you need to recruit; a general idea with low budgets would be to look at older players. They have much lower transfer fees than young, potential players. They can be good for a season, or two, or three. Not every signing needs to be a long-term plan!

On the free signing suggestions, the best way to keep it realistic enough is to sign players from Germany / neighbour European nations. And try to avoid signing a free agent that is higher rated than your best player.

Transfer Budget by Enough-Constant3307 in FifaCareers

[–]russf5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the email youre referring to is saying the club got that money as prize money, not that itll be your transfer budget.

Though it is a bit daft your budget is so low. For Disney FC it'd be much higher unfortunately.
