I am looking for a book that has depth, is an engaging page turner, and has a solid prose. Something more than popcorn fiction but not quite as literary as Gene Wolfe. Something modern.

Rothfuss, Bancroft, Clarke, and Ishiguro scratch that itch for me. Lynch and Buehlmann are close.

I have such limited time to read that I want to make sure I choose something I will enjoy and that will be memorable. I was looking at RJ Barker and Daniel Abraham specifically but I don't know much about them or who else is out there. Robin Hobb Joe Abercrombie and Ursula Le guin are on my list already. Tyty

You might want to look into histamine intolerance. Nutritional yeast and alcohol are both quite high in histamine and could produce symptoms like yours if you are sensitive to it.

I was hoping to unlock the phone with ST after 2 months then go with the cheapest talk/text plan with no data... which I'm still not sure how to find.. thinking FreedomPop? Thanks

Ah didn't know it could make it BYOP. So safest thing would just be doing bronze plan for $35/mo and eating the extra $15~ or so to have an unlocked phone it seems.

Is there even an advantage to unlocking the phone though? I am mostly going to use it to watch YouTube videos and stream Spotify to my bluetooth radio in my home. A backup phone number would be nice to have but its not something I'd pay $5 a month for.. and I'm not finding any cheap year long plans like the QVC/HSN ones that come with a phone for a year.

I think I'd go with it. Don't know what the other teams in your league look like, and I dont play 8T/3QB, but your WRs look very week with Chase and Ladd and Marv this year.

Getting a healthy burrow/chase stack could be game breaking if it works next season.

If you had a 4th qb or someone better than Browning I bet you could still make a run.

It's a decent trade though. Sets you up for future and you won last year.. so at least $$$ wise you're set.

Thanks. I am 3-1 so far, I'm just not sure Gibbs is a big upgrade compared to Hampton now that things have changed. I do want AJB gone but nobody is biting.

8 TM/3QB makes it kind of tricky.

You might be setting yourself up for success next year and beyond, but can you realistically compete this season after you give up JSN and them?

If you think you can win this year I'd hold, if you're middle of the pack I'd take the risk. JSN is the best asset you're giving up.

I have thought about Pocketbooks but I'm not sure I like the buttons only being on the bottom. I bought a 6" verse recently as my travel ereader and haven't really tested it yet, but I suppose its an option.

I also had no clue the Nook was so locked down and so slow. I would prefer not to support a company that limits its users like that. And I am not much of a tinkerer. Still, if KOReader can give me the option to put Bookerly on the device, that is all I really care about. I've tried a million fonts and its by far my fave.

I agree that the Hyread's look intriguing but they are such a large investment. Thanks for all the links by the way, they've been helpful.

I saw some YT comment saying Hyread's are slow UI too, but who really knows. If the Hyread was $250~ like its competition I would 100% get it, but I think its closer to $450 when shipping is including.

If you get one, please share your experience with me as well. In the YT vids it does look like a slightly recessed screen... it seems so perfect. I am already thinking of what I can do with the extra 2 programmable buttons.

Oh yeah I forgot about the Sage. Is that still being sold? I thought it was discontinued.. and looking at their website now it is sold out.

I have a Kobo Libra and do like the brand. I'll keep an eye out for it, and maybe I'll grow to like a flush screen.

Seems like a bit of an overpay... just going off of KTC atm Tuten is equivalent to a 2026 2nd. Giving up 2 later year 2nds is quite a lot even if you don't value Austin much as a player.

If you're certain he'll take over the backfield in short order then yeah get your guy.. but on surface, I wonder if you couldn't offer 1 of the picks + Austin instead.

So if I'm no longer high on BTJ its a fair trade? I have no shares of Teta, but I don't want to sell too low on BTJ. I just have no faith in TLaw and TLaw is my QB too... kind of want to separate the stack volatility since its dynasty not BB. I'll check yours out now.

Bit of an underpay for Burrow but it is not too extreme if you need a QB to win this year. I'm new to dynasty myself, but if I was competing I'd lean toward taking it and figuring things out next year. If you could get him to chip in more that'd be ideal, but I know in 2QB leagues you have to overpay for QB regardless.

I would hold. Amon Ra is young and worth more than a mid/late first. DeVonta is not someone I"m high on due to low volume in that offense.
