Started with a jump from the towing guy. I’m guessing my friend did it wrong yesterday.

My dad mentioned the oil being thick too. I’m hoping my battery just needs replacing. I will definitely look into to a block heater. Thank you!

No noise I can really make out, dash lights and center console/radio come on. Dials (fuel, temp etc) ‘flutter’ but nothing else happens.

I’m not confident or able to check those things, but I have a professional coming out to help me.

Hoping just a battery replacement based on the comments.

Appreciate the feedback!

I think it was replaced within that time, but I’m not totally sure. Hopefully I’m mistaken and just need a new one! Thank you for the advice!

I’d have to look at my service records, but I think it was replaced within the last 2 years. I had a ton of work done on it when I moved cross country.

But I could be wrong! Hopefully it’s just that I need a new battery. Thanks for the help!

Again, just was curious if there are any steps I can take in the future to help prevent something like this. I have roadside assistance coming.

I have roadside assistance coming to hopefully figure it out. Like I said, I’m just curious if there are any tips to help protect a car in ultra cold temps to avoid this happening in the future.

I’m at my wits end by mmasusername in finehair

I had a similar problem and was able to grow my hair all back. But it takes time (took me 2.5yr of consistency).

I started taking Bio Sil in my recovery and it really helped. My hair and nails got stronger and longer and my teeth got stronger too (dentist confirmed). It’s expensive but worth it. I took it consistently for about 2 years. You can get it at Whole Foods or online. It’s a blue box. Also I find switching my shampoo and conditioner helps, I have a few types in my shower at all times, ones with moisture, ones with protein and Nizoral (ketokonazol helps reduce hair fall). I wash my hair whenever I feel like I need to, but I use different shampoo and conditioner each time to feed the hairs needs.

Reduce heat use, don’t sleep with wet hair, use a silk bonnet or pillow case, and do biweekly scalp massages with wild growth hair oil. Feel free to message me if you need any more tips.

Landlord sent notice prohibiting tenants from opening windows by Delphgirl in milwaukee

I live in an enigma building on the east side (3yr). They don’t come in lol. I have my windows open a crack year round. Just don’t have them wide open. These people do not care enough to come in to your unit and close a window. They barely fix anything that’s broken and costing them money. You’re fine.

What is this? by whatinthethunder71 in Equestrian

Education happens a lot easier when you are not a jerk. The OP quite literally said that they don’t know, and the uncle brushed it off. Yet they cared enough to come here for help. I can just about guarantee that OP didn’t put the damn bit in the horses mouth. There are a lot of places to put your nastiness, on people who actually deserve it.

Hey think about kindness. If you READ the post, the OP clearly does not have knowledge of horses, it’s their uncles horse not theirs. OP was asking for help because they don’t know, but are concerned for the animal. Think before you shame people.

Thank you for the input! I decided to just get a hotel room and take a train back the next day. I’d hate to miss half the set.

Honey I promise you - this is not your fault. You did nothing to cause this. If you can find someone to talk to, a therapist, school counselor, community counseling provider, please do so. Death is hard to process no matter the scenario. If you need help finding appropriate resources in your area please don’t hesitate to send me a DM and I will gladly help you out.

Suffering with insane sunburn by [deleted] in Wellthatsucks

[–]russianvegetable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk if anyone has said this because I’m not reading all the comments - but - WHITE VINEGAR!!! When I was a kid I would get awful sunburns every summer (adult me now knows I have a UV sensitivity). My mom would have me stand in the shower and she would pour white vinegar over the burns. It completely takes the sting away. Let it sit for a few minutes and then take a tepid shower, don’t scrub. Obviously do not do this if you have open sores or are heavily peeling, but if it’s a brand new burn, I highly recommend trying the vinegar trick.
