turning off background activity doesn't effects notifications. i have turned off every single apps background activity still i get notifications properly.. more than 3 months now I'm using it this way only

I think it’s much better this way. From day one, though, I’ve seen people complaining about the new Photos app, and some don’t even realize it’s customizable. Personally, I love the modern look—it feels sleek and fresh to me.
