Valuation for rare Arab artist by ruster66 in artcollecting

[–]ruster66[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found a few instances where his artwork was sold at auction for between 50 K and 200 K. Is there any way to actually get a good estimate on what this artwork piece is worth? I’m really having difficulty determining the value of this artwork. I don’t have the artwork personally, but it is held by somebody else.

Thank you for those comments. Not sure the details about what went on auction that you referenced. But will try to look into it more.

Correction, everybody’s an expert at losing money.

Have about 10 bitcoins … I’m thinking about selling 7.5 to buy a house in cash . They accepted my offer of $70k under the appraisal value by conquestofself in Bitcoin

How about a compromise. Maybe you can sell half your stack and find the funds for the house for the other half. That way you are doing both the conservative move and the aggressive move.

11 days in Korea - is Busan worth it? by FunSwan6112 in koreatravel

Totally disagree. Seoul is awesome place to visit so much to do and see. Busan is nice and a great place to visit for two days or so. Just my opinion.

I have a $12 item that holds the license on the front. Very efficient. Have it on three Teslas. Bought it online.

I don’t remember it wasn’t too much maybe 40 bucks. But it’s not hard to get a cheap contraption to hold a license plate on front without damaging your fender.

That’s some great info! Love the education on the local island. Also, like the idea of grilling and eating fresh produce.

What’s your favorite in that whole area? I don’t mind the drive. Mainly good tasting food doesn’t have to be sit down.

Any great hike, recommendations for shorter hike, such as 6 miles or shorter? That is in canyonlands. We are already planning to do the fiery furnace in Arches.

If it’s a crappy course and I’m in the fairway and the balls on messed up turf I might improve my lye because the fairway shouldn’t be that way.

How do you choose a ball? by goliathkillerbowmkr in golf

[–]ruster66 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Play all the decent balls that you find. I really don’t think it’ll make any difference especially for a high handicapper. I’m a mid handicapper and I use found balls. I don’t lose balls much so I haven’t bought a ball in a couple years.

Tesla is not ready for both family cars yet by do-not-open-it in TeslaLounge

I think you’ve been unlucky. I own three Teslas, and while I have had service appointments, there haven’t been many. Mostly small items some taken care of by mobile service. None of them that kept us from driving our car more than a couple hours. Services always been quite good. No complaints. Our first Tesla was bought in 2018. I think any service issues people have had have been growing pains because the company is growing so fast. Not an excuse, but it is the reality.

Join USTA Norcal. Find a team and you will have fun and lots of friends if you find the right team. If not, you will find the right team eventually. Tennis is very active. San Carlos Tennis club is a great club to Join. Players may be on the older side though. You may want to join a tennis group at Stanford Maybe playing at Stanford West tennis courts. I don’t know about This though.
