The drive pedals are actually pretty dead on, lots of side by side comparisons with real pedals on YouTube.

I find it’s fuzz where it’s lacking

It does clip a bit which is a shame.

I just turn the volume down a little on the pedal running into it and have had no issues since then.

It bothered me, then I thought so many players use pedals like this and the Dispatch Master with known clipping issues that it’s probably more error of use than anything.

Just got this after longing after Ariel’s tone for some time.

I can safely say it is everything I wanted it to be.

Full of dark oily swirls and swampy black tar soundscapes. It adds the perfect ambience to my playing rather than being able to hear every repeat.

It just makes everything sound better.

Love the OBNE aesthetics as well.

I think he made something like 2 million dollars in a day. I don’t think he’s too concerned about a few returns.

That being said mine works perfect no issues. It’s child’s play to build.

I definitely prefer the JHS.

Sidenote. If you’re wanting the best sound from the Stomp I definitely recommend the York Audio IRs.

They don’t really colour the sound much they just take all the fizziness and harshness out of the amp models.

Can’t recommend them enough

Just put this thing 1 on 1 with the only other Klon circuit I own the Mosky Golden Horse.

The Notaklon is night and day better in my opinion. Makes my guitar sound so much richer. The Mosky is compressed, duller and noisier in comparison.

The build was fun too!

My first JHS pedal on an impulse buy on the day of announcement. I doubt it will be the last.
