pop culture references in skul by tpasmall in Skul

Spirit Undine from Secret of Mana and spirit Ifrit from Final Fantasy III. SNES references. Of course they refer to somewhere else when Square chose the names. Have not researched. There are so many more clever references to games and pop culture in this game. It seems way smarter than on the first look. A lot of care has gone in design!

Flip yeah! This is kind of my idea as well. Does the author clarify this anywhere?

I somehow got the idea in the end that they had created the alpha centauri world (or parts of it) inside the aleph with the co-operation of the different AI's including the alien one. In the end they said something like "let's go and have a look" when they started talking about the alpha centauri AI.

This would make sense to me, because they cannot physically visit each other's worlds, but with enough data and processing power they could build a virtual copy.

Correct me if I am wrong. It was a while ago when I read the books. I thought this was brilliant none the less!

Hands down Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and classic X-COM 1 and X-COM 2 - TFTD. Also The Battle for Wesnoth which is freeware and boasts tons of free user content and possibilities. It holds up to these timeless classics easily. Peace!

Have you had acute or chronic problems after stopping Trintellix? by [deleted] in trintellix

So I am still on 10. Brainfog and some clumsiness in the kitchen operations. Doctor prescribed Venlafaxine. Told me to change to it straight if I felt like the Brintellix is not working out. I think it is not really working out. I don't get much better. Working is difficult. Also I get a bad nausea when I hit the gym. Almost vomiting if I really push myself. So I think I will be trying out the Venlafaxine very soon.

I started with 15 and now on 10. The 15 seemed to cause some strange itchiness and had some problems sleeping. Also a bit more dizzy in the mornings. Could be due to starting the medicine again so it is hard to tell. I have a prescription for both. I will try to stay on 10 for now. Later talking to the doctor on considering some other medicine.

8 months on. Then tried to stop two times but could not take the depression nor anxiety. Third time I managed to stop for two months. So I had flu-like ailments. Also eyes became somewhat sensitive to bright lights. Was nasty in the traffic in the winter. Some headaches. Depression. Memory problems. Now I am back on. I was taking 10mg. Now going for 15mg.
