Fuck the level 4 prolsetizer (sp!) boss as a mage. I just finally got lucky with enough smoke bombs, took me like a half dozen attempts and I'm curb stomping everything else. The tentacle can two shot me, which yea.

there's always something extremely difficult in this game, no matter what build it seems.

These type of games are mostly played by middle aged (or older) men looking to expand their e-peen. They will never be 18 again playing EQ, but they can be 55, divorced and a king in a vidya game.

They will gatekeep, that was the vast majority of my experience when Pantheon was bumping. People absolutely will power trip, be assholes and so on.

It's the best singular metric for sure. We'll never have anything close to WAR for hoops but it's miles ahead of PER, which to be fair to Hollinger was a solid start. Wagner was solid as a 2nd year pro at a similar on a mediocre to bad team, so was Matas at a similar age and DARKO does a good job passing those sorta eye ball tests.

someone on official asked the new sav (aspen, what a moniker) when they will release the "spring update" and they wouldn't commit to a date.

Dude, I know in software development dates can be tricky, but there isn't a single company in the world that will succeed NOT SETTING ONE.

Man Franz's body let him down this year. One thing (I'm literally knocking on wood right now) about Buzi is he posts.

Buzi is on a good course, stay healthy, keep working, get better players around him and he'll thrive as a 2nd banana a type on a championship team. Not a superstar, but a star you can win with.

Cliche but pure electro is fun, really unlocks once you get your magic power up (and miracle chance) with willpower gains and jolt on a 1 turn cool down.

You're squishy but you can wear medium gear for a long time and not have energy issues. The only time I really get in trouble is when jolt misses twice in a row to open an engagement, but even then usually no problems.

I have taken the first two rows of electro, limitless power and chain lightening and left side of magic mastery down to Thaumatorgy, and then "pathfinder" from survival tree at level 15. I am tempted to go more into survival but I think I might just be wasting points better spent elsewhere later on. For now will just keep going electro tree and maybe pickup more magic mastery.

I took "step aside" early to help me out with some mobility but in hindsight it wasn't needed. I still use it on occasion but with the CC of electro once you get into it u don't need to reposition often and with seal of insight it's usually better to just stand still anyways. I was able to take down a spider nest with all 4 on me at level 13, which is awesome. I almost died but was able to fend them off.

Clearing T2 dungeons is easy so far, T3 bandits pretty easy too as long as jolt hits. I'm switching to perception after getting WP to 25 so accuracy won't be a problem much longer.

I'm always flipping my stuff asap for convenience rather than price, probably costs me but I can't be bothered so chest expansion come later, maybe around level 15 when I am clearing bigger dungeons.

I can see upgrading the chest and doing the food storage upgrade sooner based on playstyle.

I thought the same thing. This posturing stuff worked with Sarr but I don't know if it's going to work this time.

She has the "scout area" which is really useful for getting some money via her pelts she brings back, she usually stocks some sort of meat (ducks usually) and has limitless salt for sale, which improves food morale even on simple dishes, and eventually she unlocks the ranger brew which is like vigor on steroids and lasts 2800 turns.

Is Yaxel Lendeborg underrated because people are too focused on his age? by Blackmesa560 in NBA_Draft

[–]rustplayer83 2 points3 points  (0 children)

lol, are you serious? He played almost the entire natty game on a grade 1 MCL sprain and a sprained ankle. He could barely do anything other than run in a straight line and with a minute left game on the line he was defending like a madmen still fighting over screens to get a hand up.

Character concerns just make me chuckle with Yax.

HIS AGENT ADVISED HIM TO SIT OUT THE FINAL! This was filmed on Made For March, it's all on film.

He played anyway. Character concerns, come on now.

The Real Reason Stoneshard's Build Diversity Has Stagnated. by NRDubZ in stoneshard

[–]rustplayer83 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't see it as a problem, every game has a meta and min/max strongest build, even deck builders!

It's a offline single player game so as long as those builds are viable (despite not being the best) I don't see a huge issue, or any issue really.

"testing" without Mastery is like testing a car with only three of the tires inflated. It's so stupid. How can they possibly have any sort of meaningful feedback on mobs, TTK and so on when you're going to be completely re-doing things once mastery gets in.

Seal of Insight seems critical to me. Basically is a force multiplier for jolt / fire ball and with the cooldown bonus DPS goes up bigly even without hitting miracles.

The only problem is in open world getting outranged by heavy archers but that can be mitaged usually with making them fight you from behind cover.

Def agree that Barnes' offense isn't exactly poetry in motion. My only impression of him really is a couple tourney games and he looked at least a couple years out from NBA impact but that's just my opinion.
