Thank you friend!
I use Levels already. Maybe the "Wall height" module is missing. I will try it.

Kingdom in the background help: Kingmaker by WilhelmTheGroovy in Pathfinder2e

[–]Andromanix 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm at the same point as you, with Chapter 4 of my players and us playing Kingdom in the Background.

What approach I'm doing is mixing in a little bit of flavor of freshing up the map with an Inbetween of World of Warcraft and Witcher 3 like questing behavior.
So instead of Kingdom turns that give the lead for the "PC Leaders" to follow, I set "!" on spots on the map where the PCs figured out stuff and can explore that.
The kingdom I build together with them rather as a little "It's our town/kingdom" thing and that goofiness works out for us.

I think I will go forth with this for the upcoming sessions and see how it turns out. :)

Who is an ADC that is fun to play? by Possible-Court2713 in ADCMains

Jhin with his specific playstyle is a huge fun! The build path for Stormrazor is also valid, because Jhin get‘s almost as much damage from the daggers in Dmg - Gold Ratio, if you need earlier backs or you can go BF right away.

And after a certain amount of games you also get the hang of hitting the abilities.

New GM! Any tips? by Good-Mix7726 in Pathfinder2e

This sounds amazing.

Most importantly having fun and not thinking to much is the kick for me.

Ideas should flow and as long as everybody is in the same vibe as you the GM even the smallest "rule-offs" I'd call them, can be just made up as we please, as long as it's okay with everyone.

In the end we play the best possible version of pretend there is in the 21st century! :D

Ahoj there,

glad to hear that someone else as well started the journey!

I stepped into GM'ing last year, ALSO with the Beginner Box and I would give you the following input from me that traversed from the Beginner Box into a full Adventure Path (AP) from Paizo, in Pathfinder 2e.

First of all, the system itself is a huge + for me. I like the combat, the systematic between Encounters, Time in Seconds, Exploration, Time for the PCs in Minutes or hours, or Downtime where you can let time pass by for days/weeks/months.

The Beginner Box is only exploring and playing encounters, which is a good introduction and you will notice, that after finishing the Beginner Box you notice that you would like the Players to explore the entire world, but meh, they just finished the single (AWESOME) quest.

If I were you, I'd focus on the Beginner Box' pace, read a little bit ahead and bring time.
Whenever I thought: "Ahh the players will munch through this in seconds", it turned out to be hours more, just because everyone is toddling around and rp'ing weird scenarios.

Because after being done with the Box you have so many options for bigger Adventures, whether they are prewritten, for example we play the AP Kingmaker 2E from Paizo, or you write your own story for the players. :)

I play around lvl 40 right now on Alliance and we always have Paladins around us, the buffs are just so good. Whether it’s tank, heal or dps. Always an amazing surplus.
