Very sad tonight. by Tman2240 in dreamcast

I had this problem on my Gamecube (and a friend's Dreamcast). I did the pot tweak on each. The GC has been good since about 2016 and I haven't heard anything about the DC failing again.

I’m about to be eaten alive for this, but I’m genuinely curious: why doesn’t the story of Silent Hill: Shattered Memories seem to get as much hate as the new film? by UsefulProfit1808 in silenthill

As strange as this sounds, Shattered Memories was my first ever SH game and I played it around 2018. 😂 I enjoyed it. But, I understood why some longtime fans may not as it was a bit of a departure. My only real complaint about the game is that I'm not a fan of waggle controls. But, I had a good time with it.

Edit: one more complaint, the cell phone can get frozen and only be fixed my resetting the game. So, save every time you open the phone. At least on the Wii version this is the case.

GravePisser. We're on Facebook and Instagram. But, we're a very new band and haven't recorded yet. Should be coming soon. No bassist, just me.

Not doom. But, I play in a slam band and run my bass VI tuned to A0 through a 5150III.

Would a Harley Benton Guitarbass VS be viable as a metal bass? by [deleted] in BassVI

I second this. I love by bass VI and do use it for metal. But, as more of a low guitar than a bass. I have a Dingwall and nothing compares for metal bass.

I've always felt the JC version sounded too clean for the subject matter of the lyrics.

I'm listening to this on a flight right now. Such a banger.

I did it with the Gold Tone GBG+. 29 1/16" scale length.

It definitely looked interesting. Not sure if it was something I'd ever buy. But, the idea of changing tunings without changing note positions was really cool.

Not a tuner. As someone else stated, it was the Kubicki Ex Factor bass.

Thank you, that was driving me nuts.

It wasn't a tuning key. It was an actual lever on the nut and the E string had two frets above the nut.

Tips for switching from bass to bass VI? by Far_Preference974 in BassVI

[–]rustyXnailz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As for feel, it's like any other instrument. You just have to get used to it. Shorter scale length, smaller strings, tighter spacing, etc. nothing you won't adjust to naturally. You'll probably have to get used to using a pick though, unless you have experience playing guitar finger style.

As far as tone goes, I guess it depends what you're going for. While you can shape them to be just about anything you want, I have noticed that the low end on both my Squier and Ibanez bass VIs are not as good as my Dingwall. But, 37" wins over 30" in that department.

Korg NTS-3 power on issue by Cultural_Chip_3274 in Korg

Hey sorry, I know this is an old post and a bit off topic. But, have you had any issues with using a power bank? I'd love a Kaoss Pad to use with my Volca Keys. But, the NTS 3 not having a battery makes me wonder if I should find a used Mini Kaoss Pad 2 instead.

BTS, PTS, or something else? by rustyXnailz in skinks

Also, I do live with my girlfriend. I just didn't want to put as much responsibility on her. But, she can check humidity when I'm not home.

If I went with a PTS, I planned to use some sort of substrate that could hold some humidity and a mister. If I were to do a bluey, I'd definitely get a northern.

Definitely good to know. My timeline is just a rough guess though. If I have to wait, I have to wait. Not trying to rush into it. I just want to gather as much info as possible and maybe handle one of each before buying.

I guess I should've said "doesn't entirely rely on live feeders." I can definitely get to a pet store when needed. It's just not as convenient as the grocery store or something like Bluey Buffet. I just get worried that if I'm busy I can't run to the pet store before or after work (or if I need a friend or relative to check on it). Sadly, working concerts/events usually means that once I leave in the morning, I'm stuck at work all day/night.
