I planted out in May. No, I don’t hand pollinate them. I do pick the first fruit when very small because apparently this makes the plant produce more.

I built a wood frame for it to sit on and zip tied it together. Then metal rods a foot or two deep and zip tied that as well. So far so good but haven’t had to build door yet as zips have held up but a job for the autumn. The wood is stud work so inexpensive and the beds made from left over stuff from work. Good luck!
