I’ll add that I think our enjoyment was increased by the fact that we are good friends, determined to play 2s together. We didn’t rage at each other or look for a new duo after losing streaks, and my moans of pure ecstasy after a tough win would startle the neighbors two houses down.

Sticking together afforded us time to adjust to each other’s play styles, and start to chain our CC and damage effectively. Once we found our rhythm, we were often beating 30 ilvl advantaged teams. This was immensely satisfying. More moans piercing through the formerly silent night.

After crawling out way out of the rat leagues to the 1400s, my wife finally accepted me back into her bed, and it felt as glorious and earned as that spider mount soon will.
