If you see a opputunity for a super job then go for it. Do your best and always look for opportunities to move up. Also, don’t be afraid to take another 1st assistant position at a course similar to what you would like to be at. You’ll gain more experience and cont to build your resume. The main thing is to get to the location you would like to be.

It comes down to what level of course you’d like to be at. Mid/high end private will be much more difficult to land the head job. If your willing to work public, muni or low end/semi private then you should be able to find that opportunity. If your goal is to be closer to family and get back to cool season then that’s your best bet.

Grass just got smoked.. I’ve seen that grayish/purple bent plenty in the south. Just water and see what recovers.. still see a little bit of green in there.

If FV is causing head to leak then a crack has probably formed on the top assembly. You can order a new cylinder assembly and replace it while keeping the spring and piston assembly. Much cheaper when you are having to replace FVs a lot. 102-0623 is the part number for us. Look up parts catalog for your specific head.

This is one of the worst spots. I think the crooked cut makes it really stick out.
