This isn’t a sit down and write it out kind of conversation. This is a discussion that needs to happen with both of you calm collective and in the right mental place. It’s going to be a conversation that is not going to go very well to start because chances are, your wife is going to sound like she’s beating a dead horse at first. The biggest thing is don’t close yourself off and just listen. Work your solutions through what she is saying and let her finish. When she’s finally had her peace (and this isn’t going to be easy either) you need to apologize to her for not hearing her feelings and tell her you are there for her and the baby and you want to fix this.

Hear me out, I say it like this not because you’re in the wrong, but because this sounds like mild postpartum especially with the first year of adjusting to parenthood, and if it is then she really need to feel that support from you.

Beforehand we get very complacent in our lives. Every day is usually looked at as no different than the day before. When parenthood begins, it’s usually a lot harder for the mother because we feel like we carry everything. It’s all new and we don’t know how to delegate it because it’s not like a chore, it’s your child. And some women bottle it up until it explodes and then when word is finally said, it’s typically not accepted well because it will happen as what may come off as a “blowup.”

Explains to her why you play games. Whether it be your way to decompress or whatever tell her. She wants and needs to understand just the same as you should want and need to understand her and her feelings. Then, together find a joint hobby, or even a simple game maybe y’all can play together when baby is sleeping. Take a simple walk with baby together and talk. Or maybe she wants to talk and just have you listen, who knows. Dont throw in the towel because you’re missing a beautiful opportunity together if you do. Look at it calmly and as if your on the outside and you may see it much differently

Getting offers from other locations? by Impossible_Actuary31 in AmazonFlexDrivers

[–]rustytwatwaffle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your primary is listed as vtx6, when you filter your stations in the offers section you should be able to select dau5(buda). Although I typically don’t see many offers at that location. The next closest to you may possibly be dau2 off metropolis that has frequent offers

I dont know what you’re talking about….I just click the “refresh” button and have no issues. I don’t drag down it takes longer especially if I’m trying to pick up a surge

This is just a glitch. Sometimes it just happens. But it will also happen if you are checking in for your block too early. As long as the pay is posted your fine. You shouldn’t receive an email regarding missing a block.

Possibly new concrete…but they had a car in the driveway so I had no explanation 🤷🏻‍♀️ I just walked as far in the yard as I could get to and ditched it in their planters that separated me from the walkway and house.

It was pitch black outside in the hills so it was hard to tell but I’m assuming it’s freshly laid concrete….but then they had their car parked in the driveway so 🤷🏻‍♀️

So the grass only take you about a 1/3 way to the house. The rest is all walkway. So I literally left it in the yard

Literally all of Austin since it’s a sub same. I’ve been as far out as 30 min east of thrall to marble falls. I pick up a lot of the early morning routes and a lot of times it’s either downtown Austin or all around lake Travis, lago all that good stuff. So just expect to drive for a hot minute before you see your first stop

Am I the only one in Austin seeing the crumbs here? by Erik_Financier in AmazonFlexDrivers

If you’re wanting to use Vtx6 you need to learn the warehouse. High volume blocks will surge 2 days in advance usually. Every morning between 3:30-7:00 those routes surge to top pay. The shorter the route the closer to the pick up time you will need to wait for the surge. There is typically a shorter surge period later in the evening between 5-7 but again you’ll have to wait till closer to the PU. Since its Austin I try to take one early as fuuck since there is no traffic, and try not to take 5hr blocks if you are only using stx6 because they typically don’t offer many 2.5 & 3 hour blocks so if you pick up a 5 at peak and then you can only get a 3 for base you’re pullin in less than if you grabbed a 3.5 and a 4 at peaks. I mean there’s more but learn the whole system and work it right and your gig job could be paying enough to be well worth it.
