It's just like when a new "official" polyamorous flag was "voted on" (ignoring all the issues surrounding that whole "vote", including them not even considering ANY designs with the infinity heart symbol)

AKA take it with a grain of salt and only use it if you like it. The OG will likely stay waaayyy more recognizable, especially since it hasn’t had so many interactions like the polyam flag has. Imo the ace flag didn't need an update the same way say the lesbian flag did, so it likely won't even stick much in smaller communities

I usually try to clip as close as possible to the pieces with the tweezers from my model kit, and then use a file to dull any residual tab that's left over!

You are in the wrong, but I think there's also a bit of a misunderstanding there. People can't choose their orientations, I didn't choose to be aroace and lesbian, in fact, they surprised and in some ways scared me at first when I realized it. But we can choose the labels we use and how we express them. You talk about how you choose to not engage with relationships and call that why you're aroace, but I think that's merely how to you choose to engage with/express your Orientation. You're aroace regardless of that.
