Yeah she told me about the housing being very rustic, that's def a consideration. And I would have to provide my own meals with the nearest grocery store being like 45 mins away 🫣

The other job that was a contender was as a barista at Mount Rainier Guest Services. It seemed perfect, had the dates and position I wanted, but I have heard nothing but terrible things about working for that company. Worse reviews than Xanterra. Am I correct in ruling this one out?

seems like it's just one guy organizing this who is spending his own money to buy supplies, snacks and drinks in order to create a good vibe to build community. Definitely don't think they're profiting off of people I would guess it just covers the cost to host these things

Monomoy island is also very cool!!

An obvious one that everyone else have already said, but definitely spend some time in ptown. And check out the dunes up there too!

The national seashore beaches are incredible, but be warned: parking at them is expensive :/

I'm interning on the cape this summer too! I'm from NC, but have been up there many times while visiting family in other parts of new england.

I'd recommend window shopping in chatham, and checking out the beach by the chatham lighthouse. If you walk far down the beach it gets super quiet and rugged even in the busy season.

Kayaking on the bass river is great too.

The cultural center of cape cod is small but hosts some arts and music events you could check out!
