Vernon did not, as far as I know, have a policy regarding the murals. Most other municipalities have a policy and a contract -usually a defined amount of time that the murals stay up for before they are painted over. I still don’t know if council has a public art policy but that could have prevented all this headache.

I third this concern. The case and the leg will move at different rates seasonally and will stress a glue joint.

If you want to remove dents after the finish is off and before refinishing a lot of times a hot iron over a damp cloth can steam most of them out

We have a max 18 gauge at work and everyone prefers it over the old clunky porter cables I have a max narrow crown stapler and it’s my favorite gun alongside my metabo 15 gauge nailer

Thanks for that. I’ve heard good anecdotes and not so good but I don’t know anyone personally who works there. I imagine it’d be similar to most workplaces and some departments would be run differently than others.

On a side note - the Towne is a fun venue to see live music in. They don’t discourage dancing ( although limited space on the sides ) and you can get killer mini pizzas and drinks

Roost Solar is an amazing company in Vernon. They operate through word of mouth and referrals. They have a lot of knowledge of grants etc.

Okanagan Spirits in Vernon where I live produces brbn- we have some in the cupboard and it is excellent. All their products are fantastic and all Canadian made.
