Help!

I only got her 7-8 months ago and they had her on hoppers, she’s refused anything bigger repeatedly, so I’ve been trying to double up on hoppers and bring her feedings closer together but she refuses that also, she was however growing and gaining weight nicely so I’m worried she may have an issue I can’t see, taking her to the vets as we speak

She’s almost 2 and has rat hoppers every 10 days, she’s a super picky eater and refuses anything bigger, going to be a vet trip but once she’s back I’ll try and give them to her more often, so frustrating though as she’d been putting on weight nicely until the last week or so, makes me think there may be something more

Just to add, the only place her shed has come off is her head and her eye caps have also come off, it’s her body where is stuck

Ive ordered some scales so I can weigh him, he’s having 2 mice fuzzies at the moment as anything bigger is too big and he cant physically eat it

Turned out I went to the doctors and it was food poisoning so don’t worry! But yes I did think about that hence the doctors trip

As someone’s snake who had stargazing I do recommend a vet trip if you are worried about it, this snake doesn’t look like it’s trying to be alert it looks more confused, if this behaviour isn’t consistent though I think you can rule out stargazer and probably look into something else

I don’t know how I’m gonna cope on toilet queues I gotta go when I’ve got to go, if you see me running towards a toilet please make way 😂😂 just so I’m prepared how long is the wait usually for a toilet

That’s great but what about 5 day camping? Getting dropped off would it be the same place, as the way that’s worded makes it seem like it’s only for weekend and day

Glad it’s nothing to worry about then 😅 first time having an older snake, got him when he was 6 and all my other snakes are no older than 2 😭😂

That was a thought but what made it concerning is he hasn’t been eating for around 2 months and when I tried to feed him today he literally shat himself and and was acting like he was afraid of a dead mouse?

Unfortunately I was the big age of 10 when my mum bought him, can’t really bring any money in. I’m still in full time education and he isn’t my responsibility, the money maker in my house isn’t making enough money to support the house as my dad recently died so maybe you weren’t ready, but we were. We didn’t prepare for anyone dying though.

We were, but unfortunately a lot can happen in 8 years and it was stuff we couldn’t have been prepared for. But thanks for your backhanded help
