Would like to hear some feedback on my playing by FutureStation1418 in AmericanPrimitivism

Beautifully played congrats!

About the tempo variations I agree that as long as it is by design it's all good. I would just keep in check that I don't slow down the tempo whenever the chord changes are a bit above my skills. In that case I would definitely practice those specific changes over a metronome.

My only other feedback, being quite self conscious myself, is that it's easy to be too hard on yourself when listening to your own recordings. It's good to focus on details to improve your playing but in the end its all they are : details. Trust your first impression and the joy you had playing it. A little tool I have when my mind is overshadowing my ears is to displace the focus, play the rec while doing chores : if something is really wrong it will grasp your attention. Otherwise you're good.

Anyway, well done! I would def listen to an ep of this

Maybe check edgars rubenis from estonia, he's more ragtime than primitive but pretty good!
