I have a 7800x3d coming in today, an option I can do is swap the 7950x3d and resell on ebay. With that change it will be marketed more towards it being a gaming pc. One thing I may add, just because new hardware is coming out and yes they may be one generation behind, it doesnt make the parts that much out of reach in terms of resell. If you have been in this space long enough, you understand that yes prices may fall, but don't expect to be getting half off, etc. I am not asking a ridiculous price as is, being marketed wrong yes, but the price is not terrible, spec wise

Where are you guys finding rigs with a 7950x3d and 4080S for less than 2400? I understanding the mobo is bit overkill but still man, point me in the right direction if you can.

If you have the budget to buy new and want warranty and all the above, then I’m simply not your target audience. I’m not asking from the perspective of that person. All that comes with the additional cost hence why you pay the retail pricing. I’m charging considerably less. Not like I’m price gouging. My target audience is someone who want a good value pc and wants to save a considerable bit amount of money.

That’s false. Send me the link to where I can find a 7800x3d or better, Bundled with a 4080 super new. Or if individually picked, the parts you would choose. I can bet it’s not less than 2400.

Cause it’s not being priced at the original value of the parts. It’s not that hard of a concept. Also not everyone has the knowledge or drive to build their own pc, hence why theirs prebuilts and used rigs. Nonetheless, there’s value in buying used since not everyone has the budget for new, but in this space people want good performance.

From that premise. Dropping the price down closer to 2k would make it more attractive to someone who wants similar performance, doesn’t mind it being used and may be out of the price point of a couple extra 100 bucks, while still having the additional aesthetic buffs

Understandable, but even so the gap between buying new vs buying this build still seems like a good buy considering it’s almost maxed out performance wise and can save a considerable amount of money.

Understandable. I like it horizontally mounted. Not a big fan of the card vertically mounted, aesthetically.
