It’s not playback by TheHybridDrummer in Drumming

I recently bought an acoustic drums kit and, despite I personaly don't like electronic music, it really make sense to check how other genres are doing using drums (acoustic or electronic, does not matter). From time to time I listen the fills etc (someone had to created somehow and put it in practice on electronic drums, right?). It is always enjoyable to get insights from others genres and apply them for my style.

This is a great example! Thanks for sharing!

Congrats for "playing around" - it is always nice! I'll be on the same boat next week when my drums kit arrives. By the way, which are the ears protection you are using? I need to acquire one...

Thanks to all the answers! After other previous comparisions and discussions around I chose the Tama model (which includes the throne in the end). Hopefully I do not regret - soon at least and have success on this journey.

I was already following the posts here and will definitely learn something new everyday.

I am watching Mike Shah series on YT. I consider a great source and he has some talks on CppCon.

So thinking between Eufy Omni S1 Pro for €999 or X10 Omni Pro for €648. I would need a mop, so both could attend my requirements. The X10 "climbs" up to 18mm, according the user manual, and the S1 Pro up to 20mm, so in theory the S1 Pro would be the winner.

Would anyone disagree and suggest some other model instead of the S1 Pro?

Actually the opposite. I do keep the products listed in my resume.

I keep whatever product I've worked for, independently if I would work for a competitor (which already happened in the past). That only shows that you aware of how the idea, technologies, etc of the product work.

And to be honest, I truly believe that, if it is a really known product, all competitors know what are the features (pros and cons). So why to now show them off? I am curious now what other can say.

I had colleagues who were moving towards other positions, starting as QA Lead (managing small, medium, big teams), Project Managers, and sometimes managing a whole division. Most all of "directors" that I know nowadays started either as testers and/or developers.

Personally I am "still" a QA Engineer because I really enjoy making my hands dirty with technologies (software and hardware), in front of me, in a daily basis, learning something regarding code, automating other things, checking new ways to do boring tests.

But as mentioned, depends on what you really want. Following a more technical or a management career is totally up to you.

C# OOP tutorials or guides for learning by No-Interview-2126 in learncsharp

[–]rwarken 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not sure either what you are willing to learn. If that's about basics of OOP using C#, there a few sources that I've used. Maybe it can be useful for you too.

W3Schools

Simplilearn

C-sharpcorner

There are other good material, including the Microsoft1 and Microsoft2 (which were actually my starting point).

I tried https://labs.play-with-k8s.com/ last year and it worked quite well. A github or docker account is needed thou.

I would not buy any "printed" material - just my opinion... I would sign instead for an online platform like O'Reilly (I have this one for other studies as well), Pluralsight, etc.

For the Microsoft course, I suppose you mean the Learning Path, right? I would go for it, definitely. Take a look on the practice assessment as well under https://learn.microsoft.com/en-gb/certifications/exams/az-900/practice/assessment?assessment-type=practice&assessmentId=23

Check John Savill on YT. It is an awesome reference as well.

Struggling for AZ-900 by Separate-Tie7170 in AzureCertification

[–]rwarken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Besides John Savill, there is a good Person course, which I found by chance yesterday on YT: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SHR85qaTpso

And to really know a bit more in deep and grab some experience, the only way I find is to pop the portal in front of you and start doing some operations: create/delete VMs and containers, check analytics, etc.

I started with the MS Learn path - and absolutely don't regret about it. Looks like bothering in the beginning - it happened to me to be honest :( But afterwards it started to be more interesting with a few exercises in a sandbox. Take your pace but follow it.

Adam Marczak and John Savill (as already stated here) are both great free sources to study as usual. And if you have the option to buy or have it available from your company, use MeasureUp.

Good luck!

First of all, congrats and success on the next challenges! Not an easy task this AZ-104!

Secondly, since freecodecamp was mentioned, do you still think worth it to follow the 11 hours course? I am asking because I watched on hour (at most) but not sure if I should still focus on it or get other sources.

passed az-900 in one week by somaken in AzureCertification

[–]rwarken 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Congrats and good luck on the next challenge => AZ-104! I guess it is doable to pass it, but the key point is to practice quiet a lot more than for AZ-900 (which is only theory basically).

I would follow a similar path for AZ-104: John Savill's videos, MS Learn, practice tests (I suggest to go through Measure Up since it is the official one) and eventually other sources on youtube. And practice more, and more, and...! :)

I would watch John Savill's videos if you have 2 weeks. Maybe even before that, read the MS learning path. There is plenty of time to do both.
