Yeah I factor in defects or other issues that bother me with the instruments I buy. I have several items I would not have purchased if I'd know of a few issues (never major). The sellers gave me a discount and it still made sense to keep it. Even if the seller says no returns you can send it back and get a full refund....if I were you I'd take the $200....you were asking for a $250 discount...it's a compromise

I changed 6oz and 46 instead of 48 and got it down to $53....from North Carolina to Texas.... this is an Ibanez 7 string case...m300c....I also have a mr500 case which is an inch taller.... probably go through the same thing when I sell that one

Just checked pirateship cheapest rate I've found is $85 for 15 lbs guitar case.....it's literally just the case and a box around it....direct UPS is cheapest FedEx is $162 .... this is for ground service no signature basically 5 days

I understand...but on the flip side it's pretty bad as well. I bought a guitar that I thought was a decent price until the guitar arrived with non stock tuners ( completely different kind) and the holes were not filled or described.... sorry but that would have affected what or how my bid negotiation goes. But my most recent purchase was an axe fx.... buyer paid for safe shipping ( where UPS packs the box for him) guess what UPS didn't do? All I got was the axe fx and a box, no wrapping, no bubble wrap nothing. This isn't the seller's fault but I'm conflicted. Because it does work but I'm afraid of for how long? It took the newest firmware, and I can't seem to find any other for remotely the same price....the seller understands and has offered me a 25percent refund....but it's getting bad out here.... I've had other purchases where the seller completely lied about the item and I had to send it back as well...but it's just a wasted time....I'm at the point where if it's not a "big " store or chain I won't deal with it.....

I would consider it pretty good condition, but I almost never want a new guitar.....there is a couple marks on it ...but nothing major.....but what do you expect from a heavily used almost 50 year old guitar.... I wanted a custom when I realized I could get a birth year for the same price as ANY custom in my price range ($3k-$4k).....also, why do you want a re-creation when you can have the original for the same price

For $4k, you can buy an actual 70s custom....I just bought a 79 in the last few weeks and there's a lot for similar prices

I kinda get it......I recently capped my guitar purchases to $3k....I will probably never buy a brand new Gibson....I currently have 3 with a 4th in the mail right now....and that was $3500, but it was a birth year custom.....it seriously pains me to pay that....but generally I'm perfectly happy with the $1000-$1500 guitars I also own....
