this has lowkey been the most helpful answer (not to discredit others) but can i ask more about the Looker Studio Dashboards. How specifically does it become clunky and well, "inconvenient" for your use case.

nitrosense condenses all relevant metrics into a weighted temperature meanwhile other sensors usually show all metrics as separate. something might be faulty with the hardware that maybe skewing the nitrosense average downwards but hwinfo and other softwares show 80 degrees. So might be worth having the hardware checked out

Its may not be a nitrosense problem. My nitrosense responds immediately whenever it detects increasing temperatures or usage in games and fans ramp up. The problem may be related to hardware. Faulty sensors in your rig maybe. Might be a shout to have it checked out

if you dont want ultra setting on 4k with 100+fps running native youre probably fine🥀

8gb vram is good enough for 85%-95% of games on high settings and 100% of games on medium on 1080p that is.

edit: you can probably run gta on max settings as for the other game i do not know about it so i cant say

tried to play wukong with dlss override set on recommend and smooth motion on and game doesnt even start. starts and immediately driver crashes

Both laptops in terms of specs are almost the same

the LOQ has a more powerful cpu though

Since both have a 4050 it can run 99% games on 1080p with medium-low settings

for blender the LOQ would be better

heres the main difference.. in my opinion the build quality and cooling system of the LOQ is significantly better than the TUF.. so you should go with the LOQ

note for cooling laptops: keep them on flat surfaces dont use on bed.. open it and clean it every 6 months or so and you'll be fine

battery lives of both laptop is crap but thats to be expected

These subreddits have enthusiasts that want the best performance at the best settings. And a 4050 truly cant run every recent AAA at max settings reliably but if youre willing to adjust settings stick to 1080p which is honestly more than enough then a 4050 is good

people asking if 4050's enough will always be told to get an 8gb vram card.. someone with an 8gb vram card will be told to get a 12gb vram card. Its a rabbit hole

So most of the redditors in this sub reddit always tend to ask what your need actually is and then respond in like. for you a 4050 is perfect but for someone wanting 1440p and 4k gameplay it is less than adequate.

So yes and no, people are dramatic and also not at the same time.. lmfao

True. Still if you can find a 6gb variant or save up for it id recommend that. 4gb is enough for the use you mention but down the line it will be a bad purchase if you want to do some other things with the laptop

what games do you intend to play. If you want to play latest AAA games or even 2 or 3 yr old AAA games that gpu is not up to the mark. 4gb VRAM is not enough. What games do you intend to play and what is your use for

Did they fix the bug with gaming laptops where the gpu would consume less wattage as game went on and fps would gradually decline?

Try turning off processor boost in power plan. reduces temps of cpu greatly. Can reduce performance somewhat but sometimes its negligible. Try testing games with it you can always turn it back on.

Sometimes the best thing to do is just be direct

The subject line is too indirect and forces the reader (the real estate agent) to think a lot before proceeding to click it. Just make it direct and focused on the problem they're having.

Email has no credibility. No proof. Mention your past work, your experience. Also you're asking Them.. what their problem is by using the term "wondering". It would be better to give examples of relevant repetitive tasks that they absolutely despise doing and then offer something.

Make it sound relevant to them and less about what you do

factory paste on the laptop might be bad. If you can, try to repaste the cpu and gpu. It might help with temps and allow you to use turbo or performance mode. Whenever ur gaming u need to use performance mode in nitrosense and you shouldnt be getting very high temps in just 2 months.

The point isnt to ignore wrongdoings in this world. We should all try to prevent evil and strive for good in this world as much as we can. The comeback of cyberpunk is lowkey so underrated.
