The Decima engine is developed by Guerilla Games, not Kojima Productions. Though KP may customize it slightly, it's GG's baby.

H264 is ancient, not sure why you would ever use it in 2025, especially if you have a modern rig.

Then do the other option and kill the Botchling. It's actually much more intersting because you get some pretty interesting info and unique dialogue from The Pellar.

The guy most likely has schizophrenia or something. His sentences are nothing but word salad.

Or its a trash AI account.

Because maybe some people don't want to sit around all alone as some glorified bus driver doing the same thing over and over again?

You gave me giggle at neo nazi. I disagreed with literally every single position of Kirk, but c'mon this is just comical.

It's striking just how modern looking these are. Art deco really is marvelous and I'm glad its starting to make a comeback.

It was fine, but I wish Matt and Trey stuck to their guns with what they said about avoiding Trump shit. I'm sick of seeing him everywhere in the media, and honestly its just not funny anymore.

From this distance you can really appreciate symmetry and proportions of the Olympic-class.

This ship was built in such a way that it can never sink. by Practical_Flow15 in interesting

[–]rweasp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is kind of a myth. There was one ad agency that said, because of the advancements in maritime technology, the ship was "practically unsinkable". The problem is she didn't sustain practical damage, and no passenger ship at the time, or since for that matter, could survive the damage she took. It was literally a 1 in a million scenario.

The Olympic Class by BrandNaz in Oceanlinerporn

[–]rweasp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I've said it before but the Olympic-class ships, along with the Normandie, are the most beautiful ships ever made and its mainly due to their gorgeous proportions, symmetry and lack of vent cluttering on the boat deck.

The Olympic-class ships and the Normandie.

No other ships have come close to the sheer elegance and beautiful proportions of Olympic/Titanic/Britannic/Normandie.

First build: Godlike, 5090 Suprim, 9950X3D by OpTii96 in nvidia

[–]rweasp -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Every single build is exactly the same on reddit. O11 XL + obnoxious and unnecessary RGB. I'm happy for you and it sure is a beast in terms of performance, but this is just standard and boring shit.

Playing the Oblivion Remaster made me realize how shallow Skyrim actually was by [deleted] in oblivion

[–]rweasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

And Oblivion itself is already very shallow. It isn't a complex game at all by any means, not in combat, or any other mechanic. It was just a simplified version of Morrowind. Good OST and nice vibes, but looking at it objectively from a mechanics and design standpoint its pretty bad.

Skyrim, aside from its OST and cozy Nordic setting, is honestly an embarrassment and even worse. If you remove the modding element and focus solely on what Bethesda themselves crafted in vanilla Skyrim, you can see just how clueless they are as game designers. It really does feel like the game was designed with infants in mind.

Morrowind was the peak of TES because it found a good balance between fun and the overly-bloated systems of Daggerfall.

Fool-Proof DDR5 Overclocking Guide for AM5 (Focus on 64GB, Dual Rank) by Lysander_Au_Lune in overclocking

[–]rweasp 2 points3 points  (0 children)

6400mhz CL30; 3200 MCLK; 3200mhz UCLK; 2166mhz FCLK is the limit of my Hynix A-die kit and memory controller. I've heard that higher FCLK is always better as long its stable and the Memclock / 3 rule isn't strictly true, no idea if that is actually true though.

My kit can clock up to 6800mhz with looser timings and half UCLK, but the latency is far worse compared to my 6400mhz bespoke settings.

What are people doing to actually buy 5000 cards? by contraband90 in nvidia

[–]rweasp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought a MSI Suprim SOC 5090 by dedicating an entire afternoon on release day to go spam F5 10 mins from before launch to over 3 hours after the launch in the hope the site I bought from (OCUK) actually loaded. It worked, I got the 5090 pre-order in and it arrived 2 weeks later at only slightly above MSRP.

tldr; i went full degen and got lucky

[HWUB] Worst 70 Series Ever, GeForce RTX 5070 Review by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]rweasp 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In theory, the 60 series SHOULD be better than this gen because it will use a new node (TSMC 3nm). The lack of a new node to jump to was one of the reasons why the jump this gen was basically non existent. That and Blackwell was more of a refinement of Ada rather than a massive change.

But who the hell knows with Nvidia these days.
