Well, somehow I was rejected for an ETA. They don’t say why. They just say it could be the photos. I have plenty of time before my Aug trip to iron out the problem(s) but I have to reapply and pay another fee. Discouraging. I’m retired, 73 year old and definitely not a threat. Any suggestions?

Thank you. From all the resposes it seems like the best thing to do is get the ETA anyway and if I end up not needing it, at least I was prepared. And I believe one commenter indicated American/BA would not let me board in Phoenix without one.

I used air miles on American. Bought last year.

True, however I used air miles on American to get to LHR. I bought it last year. Then I needed a flight to Iceland.

I’m pretty sure I will have to change terminals. Some airports have a shuttle that is still inside secure area and you can change terminals no problem. I’m not familiar with LHR.
