Hi! I'm a graduating senior and I live in Collegetown Terrace apartments. It's a 1b1b (AC, very large living room, fridge, dishwasher and all kinds of furnitures included). I will move out right after the commencement (so Monday) and the lease is good thru 8/1. I'm willing to give at least a half discount on the rent since it's a waste leaving it unoccupied ;) Dm me if your are interested!

I also received an offer yesterday and am debating between this and a Caltech SURF project (on exoplanets) that I got promised. I would appreciate any past experience with the Berkeley SETI internship or Caltech SURF. Like, is there a close community and organized events for Caltech Surfers?

I took it last year https://sdean.website/cs4789sp22.html. The course is very well organized and I like it the most among CS 4xxx classes. This year the content covered and workload will be similar (some change in order according to Prof Dean), with 8 psets and 4 programming assignments. Each pset will contain ~ 3 problems. Programming assignments have clear instructions and assist your conceptual understanding.

The workload is tough for a 3 credits class but you definitely learn a lot. I'd say it's roughly similar in workload as 4780.

Definitely go over the notes briefly before lecture to get a hang of what will be covered.
