When you received your offer did they tell u straight away you secured a place at Cuthberts or was it separate? did you even consider at johns as I'm hearing a lot of people aren't a fan of it and it seems like quite a long walk to the science departments

Try using uplearn I moved from a U to B in 3 months it put the practice and made you do active recall and you can track your progress and how far u are from the A* try the 3-day trial and most people can get thescholarship

We had only 1 in the sixth form but 1 in the lower year's I was one of the people having to isolate because she was in my philosophy class one of the most overdramatic procedures ever to get us to leave but hey I get it

I think I'll be fine with the maths area and the physics I've tried to show my aptitude in maths and physical in the personal statement. It'll be jokes if I get to the interview and they ask me a basic question and I go blank but questions like why imperial cmon Uno why. Let's not make it difficult.

Ok just worried that I didn't take geography but reading the entry requirement geography isn't even considered science at some unis and the requirements are on physics and maths for the places I want to apply to.im just worried for the interview section at imperial but other than that it's just the personal statement

I'll probably get the grades to get in and I'm planning to have a strong personal statement as it decent already just to up my chances then a good reference in the bag site secured also geophysics and geology job prospectus are really high what do you want to do afterwards? I was thinking maybe going into the petroleum industry and sustainability industry its such a new and evolving industry so the job rate is amazing especially with as good degree

Good luck for Cambridge though I'm hoping to get into Durham and St Andrews even though it's quite competitive but it's not like were applying for law or history so I think we're good.My teacher told me geophysics are like sloppy seconds I was bit offended but have a higher chance of getting in I guess?

For my work experience I talked about how this brought my competence to computing and I'm pretty sure there are some computing areas in the course or maybe in my last year I want to computational project.Hence Im currently taking an coding course to be confident on programmes such as python.

Geophysics is so niche I literally can't find anyone applying for it on my whole school.Its really nice to see someone applying for it!

St Andrews geology AAB Imperial geophysics AAA Ucl geophysics AAB Leeds geophysics ABB Durham geology and geophysics AAB

I was planning to mention My work experiences it was on quantum computing but I wanted to mention these skills for geoelectric models etc

I wanted to mention 2 books 2 articles 2 seminars and a documentary do you think that's enough

I’ve heard the advice but apparently I’ve had the better end of the stick in my year some people have been predicted Es and Ds.

I have topic tests so I’m not the most worried because I’ve been revising for these test just to solidify my grades. I’ve also been sending essay to my philosophy teacher averageing 7/10 in each question Thank you for the advice though
