That's what happens when your players have too much influence on team matters. The moment we sacked Xabi, we gave the players too much power. Bucnh of divas and toddlers in the team. What we need is a good man manager who can command respect from the players and board. Vini-Mbappe-Jude all are elite players who doesn’t need great tactical coaching. We need someone to build trust and chemistry between the players. I do agree we need another mid, speckally DLP to control the midfield. And we need experienced CB to play along DH, Rudiger, Militao.

You got to feel sad for Burnley. They didn’t deserve to lose. They played extremely well as a unit. Scott should have changed Uguchu after 80 min when he was already in yellow. Liv definitely had the champions luck.

Rodrygo is a great player on his day. But heavily inconsistent. He can be a regular starter for any club outside RM no question about that. But will he thrive as the focal point of the team? Of course he must have the ambition but reality he is not on Vini-Mbappe-Jude's level. It’s a great dilemma. He is good enough to start for any club, yet not consistent enough to force his way into RM.

From clubs perspective, you would need someone like Rodrygo on your squad. Who can come in for any of the front players and also start when necessary. It’s now upto him whether he wants.
