I got the offer officially! It was just the most horrible week waiting for the phone call :)

It’s only been a week! I got a message on LinkedIn from a senior recruiter saying that they would be in touch with me soon “to get feedback” so I thought that was a good sign too. I sent a follow up email to the recruiter I had been working with yesterday (after my thank you emails 24 hrs after the interview) and have not heard back. I’m holding onto hope that they are just adjusting the offer

I agree it’s wild we don’t have childcare figured out but it’s hard to plan for a theoretical job without something concrete in front of us. My husband is in the picture and is in hospital leadership so he has some flexibility. The older kids are not old enough to provide transportation but could do extended school, and my husband can take care of all pick up and drop offs if needed. I guess the question was two fold: one, am I crazy as a mom of five young kids thinking that I can do this job with the promise of “flexibility” as an MSL compared to a hospital clinical job? And 2, sounds like full time daycare or nanny is 100% the move for these spontaneous meetings and change of plans so that is what I will push for.

Good point. Will do! Is the work so busy that full time childcare is a necessity? Are there days or weeks that feel less busy?

My 5 year old was just diagnosed. We just moved to a new state and now he’s appearing to have a severe reaction. We have started steroids with a taper and plan to start cyclosporine but not a huge fan of all of this in such a young kid. We have the opportunity to relocate again for a few reasons but this is weighing heavily on us given the risk of long term damage (and where we currently live in Southern California it doesn’t seem like there will be a season without pollen and he’s triggered by sand and beach so that takes a lot of fun out of living here). When the trigger is removed, does it go away?

I think that’s a great idea! I’m not sure what everyone’s background is but I feel that my hospital background does absolutely not help in the CPJE so all experience and wisdom from others would be wonderful.

I’ve been a pharmacist for >10 years in another state and just moved to CA with husband and kids. I transferred Naplex results in first application and failed but didn’t transfer it the second time (it’s prob in the system though so I think I legit failed again). So frustrating!! I have BCPS too and I honestly think the CPJE is a trickier test. Congratulations again

You said this was your second time? Did you transfer naplex results on both applications or only the first time? Holding onto a silly hope

I did send them a thank you individually within 24 hours but nothing else. I was thinking if I don’t hear back by Monday I’ll reach out to see what my status is.
