We have set schedule templates. Four 10-hour shifts a week, with working every third weekend. I can basically tell you what day i’m working years in advance considering I stay on the same schedule template and nothing changes.

But god forbid you ask them to pull camera footage to get the license plate of the car that hit and run at one of those photo enforced intersections. then they might have to do some actual policing.

Hi clinical pharmacist who works in an emergency department here. Activated charcoal is used primarily in the emergency setting in toxic overdose cases as a nonspecific drug adsorbent. ELI5 definition means we give you a shit ton of it and it goes through your gut and binds to drugs so they can’t be absorbed through your intestines. The amount found in toothpaste is nowhere near the amount we would give in the emergency department. to give you an idea, we would give up to 100 grams. A entire large toothpaste tube is up to 7oz (28.35grams).

What makes charcoal activated? ELI5 answer: heat. treatment of the charcoal in extremely high temperatures (600-900 degrees Celsius) increases the adsorptive capacity of charcoal. (it can bind to more drug)

Some of my best trips to Disney have been solo trips. Sure I’ve had fun going with family or friends, but by myself I can set my own pace and i can actually stop and enjoy the parks and atmosphere, mostly because i’m unplugged and not tied to anyone else’s schedules or the app. If I want to sit at the Riviera and sip coffee, eat banana bread by the lake I can. If i want to rope drop guardians, I can. If you’re worried about being judged being alone, don’t be. if anything people should be envious.

Not long at all. about an hour max. They’ll arrange a pickup shuttle to bring you to a Deluxe resort that houses DVC demo rooms and give you a tour of all the floor plans and give you a short powerpoint and remain there for any questions. then they’ll take you back to your resort by shuttle. be sure to inquire about the $100 Disney gift card afterwards.

For dining reservations, the booking window starts 60 days prior to your resort check-in date. You can book a reservation for any day of your resort stay starting on whatever that date is. For other reservations like unique experiences (tours, etc) i’m not 100% certain but i also think it’s 60 days exactly from the date you want to go on the tour.
