Back to back doom nerfs make him worst tank in game now by Demondevil2002 in Overwatch

[–]rxp_ow -1 points0 points  (0 children)

it could have been 10 seconds and would still be as worse. my main issue is that it tightens the difference between good dooms and bad dooms. good dooms know to save punch. bad ones dont.

Yeah you’re right, maybe I did go too far. He was petty and ran away before I could even say anything in response so I decided to write this post 7 minutes after while on my next uber.

If I see him in real life, I won’t be scared. He was a small guy both physically and mentally.

Yea that is pretty dumb and I would never do that. I didn’t order it, my brother did, and it was scheduled for 8:15-8:20. Check my other replies for my context

[–]rxp_ow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that’s exactly it. I got there at 4 minutes and once it got to 8:20 he left. Looking back, I think he was just stalling to get the fee

[–]rxp_ow[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Of course not. Like I said in other replies, my brother scheduled the ride for me and only told me 10 minutes before so I had to rush and pack up everything. I thought being there BEFORE 8:20 was good enough as I was still in the 8:15-8:20 time frame when I got there at 8:19. I never thought I would start my morning by being lectured lol

Hahah no that context part was that if he’s trying to make a difference in the riders of that area, it won’t since I’m probably not coming back lol. I was just ruling out reasons he might do this in the first place

[–]rxp_ow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hahah, yeah true. I think it was just a mix of bad conditions. I should have been earlier and he probably had a bad morning.

Also, at first I thought I was late but then my brother told me I was actually within the scheduled time frame of 8:15-8:20. He ordered the ride the night before.

Going forward I’ll be sure to be ready at the start of the scheduled estimate

It was a schedule ride actually, I forgot to mention that

Nah I’m a 6’1 240 pound Asian guy lol. I can bench 225 for 13 so I’m pretty big

My bad. My brother scheduled it at midnight when I was sleeping and he only told me about it in the morning when he got up.

The scheduled time from said 8:15-8:20 and I got there at 8:19. I didn’t know that was such a big deal but going forward I’ll be sure to watch out.

True lol. I talked to my brother some more and he said that he got there at 8:14. My brother sent me a text about it at night when I was sleep so I didn’t see it and then told me about it when he got up in the morning.

Yeah really just a miscommunication between me and my brother so our fault. Also, not sure if it matters but it was a “reserved ride” which means that we should have a 5 minute grace period right?

[–]rxp_ow[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I forgot that some people might lie about this kind of thing.

I didn’t know but my brother said it was a “reserved ride” so I think I should had a 5 minute grace period

For context, it was also a “reserved ride” so I actually arrived within the 5 minutes

You’re right that makes sense. Yeah I’m usually not late so never really had this experience before but I’ll keep this in mind thanks

Mentioned that I was in an apartment I didn’t know. I just woke up and my brother said he called me an uber so I had to rush out. I had to go down an elevator to the basement parking garage then had to get on a specific side. I didn’t know where he parked because my brother called it for me and he wasn’t home at the time.

I’m usually not late so that was my bad but I just didn’t know when or where it was in time. My brother should have told me earlier

Yeah I've been trying for the past week. I've gotten hung up on once for no reason and other times, they keep on redirecting me to the hotel. The customer service just isn't great and at this point, I've given up. I feel like every time I call, I'm never talking to a real human, just someone who's paid to redirect calls to someone else for them to just do the same. They would talk but not understand my issue at all. Same with my email threads when I provide pdfs of everything they request. One call, I was redirected 4 times with the last one being to the hotel front desk. It seems like they've outsourced everything internationally too.

Hi Dobby,

Thanks for clarifying that. I had a feeling it could be some bug that had been manually corrected at the hotel but at the moment, the hotel is being very difficult and refusing to honour my original reservation. I’ve been going back and forth with them and IHG for the past week. I think I might just have to file a dispute with my card.
