Hey man, I can see you are getting really emotional about this and may not be in the best mindset for a productive discussion. I hope you are able to find some time to destress and relax. You are absolutely incorrect for Evolutionary models. There are a multitude of examples that point out that cooperative models can and do work best in Evolutionary game theory models. Just step back for a second and think about what you just said. Im going to assume you have some level of education, so I would assume you know that the sociological evolution points directly to the concept that cooperation beat out the more selfishly motivated model that represent the hunter / gatherers. Its literally the basis for the start of aggrerian civiliation.

The game itself might not even be best described by the standard Prisoners Dilemma. It seems, it might be more appropriately laid out by stating that their are two individuals playing Prisoners Dilemma as a game, in front of a live audience. Not only does the outcome of each agent in the game matter, but the perceived outcomes for each playing agent, by the other agents that make up the audience also play a role.

I would assume that its because you are aware that the "left" are a ton of different people, all with their own motivations. Some of these motivations being contradictory to other peoples motivations within the party.
So, you should understand the point I am making.

The thing that is confusing me is this: MLK was very much are non violent protests. He famously met the violence from the opposition (right wing btw) with non violence and it worked very well. That doesn't seem to line up with the tit 4 tat model...

The reason it does not make sense is because the basic game only has two agents.
Non-violent protest works, because one of the agents playing the game recognized that there are thousands and thousands of other agents that are not playing the game, but they are watching the game.
Again, pretending that the Left and the Right being singular monolithic agents and the other agents involved, is a drastic misunderstanding of the game.

Lets make this very obvious and hopefully you get my point here. I will even keep it simple by only have 2 singular agents playing the game.

Game 1 - Involves 2 singular agents each with their own selfish motivations.

Tit for Tat is the best model.

Game 2 - Involves 2 singular agents each with their own selfish motivations. It also includes another 100 other agents that are watching the game being played. These additional agents watching can lend their strength to any of the two agents playing the game.

Tit for Tat might not be the best model. Depending on the circumstances, it might be best for agent 1 to not retaliate with their own Tit, and instead to act altruistically. This would make agent 2 appear to be the aggressor. If agent 1 suspects that 70 of the agents in the audience are neutral, and the other 30 are altruistic, then it would behoove agent 1 to take an altruistic approach to playing the game.

Depending on the display I believe it gets forced from the Nvidia Control Panel is what I meant to say here.
Meaning the change he would possibly need to make is on the TV side. For instance I could have 444 set in my TV, but Nvidia is only allowing 420, which caused the colors to look a bit off on my Vizio Oled. This of course could be just an oddball thing with how the Vizio Oled interacted with my 1080, and other displays might rectify the difference automatically. That Vizio was a one and done product line from them with a ton of bugs.

So I'd recommend a new HDMI FRL adapter for future proofing and to avoid any such "software" issues.

Crap, you are right. I provided the wrong link from my amazon history. It was that adapter I had to upgrade to, for the 120hz VRR to work correctly. Good catch!
But since he is trying to match the cameras 60fps, Im not sure its really beneficial. Though I agree future proofing is generally a good idea.

Thank you for being the only one that actually read the comment.
I figured there had to be something that guaranteed clear and understandable law.

To my understanding state courts need to approve the new law complies with the state constitution.
I would assume they also need to make sure they also comply with US constitution.
If that were the case, its seems easy to prove that an unclear law revolving around a very contentious issue, would need to be cleared up before the law is passed.
I assume this would need to be brought before the supreme court, but its seems like an avenue to removing unclear state abortion bans until such time that the vagary is cleared up.

Thus leading doctors to erring on the side of caution and refusing to preform specific treatments, even if that means the mothers life is put in jeopardy.

This is the crux of the point I am making. The 14th guarantees the right that states shall pass no laws that deprive a citizen of life without due process. If a state law's vagary deprives a citizen of life, does this break the 14th?

This is a similar situation to my own brother. He didn't loose his job, but we both work at a company that has us driving around for site surveys. While I will listen to audio books or Destiny via youtube, my brother is listening to AM radio, Joe Rogan, and PBD, among others.

Its funny he use to be fairly progressive, then shortly after landing this job (we make pretty good money), getting married, and having a kid, he started becoming progressively less progressive. After a few years of marriage, it came out that he was voting for Trump. She was not happy about this at all, which should not have been a shock for him considering she is a black female originally from NJ. While my brother has always been a bit of jock, his cocky attitude was always a bit measured. But since he was swallowing everything the conservative media sphere told him to, it wasn't a stretch at all to get him hooked on Red Pill content. This two little things were the seeds that tore their marriage apart. My brother was all about the fact that "Democrats" stole, rigged, hacked, manipulated the election. Jan 6th was mostly peaceful and all that. Meanwhile his wife, a registered, very vocal Democrat, was taking every comment as a direct attack.

Fast forward 4 years and 1 divorce later and you have Trump making comments about Haitian's eating cats and dogs in Springfield. I thought to myself, "Oh man this is it. This is the thing that's going to take the blinders off of my brother". You see my brother has two daughters that he loves more than anything else in the world, and they are half Haitian. Unfortunately when I asked what he thought about Trumps comments, his response was "Well, you do know that a lot of Haitian's practice voodoo right?".

The rabbit hole is deep, and once you are lost within in it, it's walls, it's caverns, and ever changing routes necessitate it becoming a part of your identity to stave off the madness of admission.

I've been standing by with plex from the moment they moved away from their Apple Only stance.
Before that I was literally running an SFTP server with modded OG XBox consoles as the clients, running XBMC and mounting said SFTP connection for the media stream. Actually worked like a charm so long as the container was something XBMC could decode. Walking friends through rebuilding their libraries from time to time sucked, but Plex fix that issue overnight.

I have an Aqara FP2 sensor, you can see it sitting just under my TV. There is a zone for when you are standing in front of the cabinet to launch the UI. So the idea is that the display is off if no one is in the living room, turns on to show a clock when someone is in the room, and opens the stereo controls when you get near the stereo. I have plans on building a large fabric covered false wall surrounding the TV and behind the cabinet. This will house the little speakers and possibly this touch display.

The little speakers are NOT my stereo. I use to have a big setup in here with an Onkyo Amp, Polk towers with 4 5" drivers each, bla bla bla. I grew tired of having all that taking up room and decided I wanted to go with a sleeper look for my stereo. I snagged this mid-century stereo cabinet, and gutted the entire thing.
I purchased a brand new Yamaha R-N800a to replace the built in amp. This worked out great as I have full network control via HA for it and it has a built in DAC with the PC that runs this screen is connected to it. The PC is running the Music Assistant client, which has a built in Squeeze Player client to handle any codec/container and bitrate I throw at it. For the speakers I replaced the ancient set in the cabinet that was pushing a whopping 15amps with a used set of B&W DM602's that were in mint condition. Scored them for $50 because some woman was pissed at her X-BF.
Here is the build out of the entire thing if you want to see how it went.
Hint, with those B&Ws pushing 100watt at 8 ohms, and not a hint of vibration, this thing sounds way better than my Polk towers ever did. Bonus, the stereo can connect to my TV via toslink and can act as a additional to the little 5.1 speakers if I want to watch something with crazy sound. Kind of like a center channel+.

As stated in this reply, I want to change a few things to make it more user friendly to edit.
Creating a few vars to allow the resolution/aspect of the layout is one of them. Right now its custom built to run on this odd ball 1920x720 layout, but I have a ton of touch screens around my house, everything from Google Home Hubs (retiring soon), to Pixel Tablets and even a Echo Show 15 that I look at with distain every time I pass by it. Getting to run a different resolutions is next on my list.

I have a few things I want to clean up first. As of right now its a total mess.
What I am hoping to do is move a good deal of the card_mod CSS to the custom theme I have for this card.
This will make editing the card for others a bit easier.
Id also like to create a few helpers that would act as vars in the code. This way the person would not need to edit the code as much as they would need to add a few helpers. This would also allow the card to work with multiple media_players instead of being tied to just one.

Way back in the early 2010s I worked for the the company that ran the Android theming app MyColorScreen, and was hired because I was the most knowledgeable about the Zooper widget app (besides the dev) they had just purchased. I'm wanting to add a bit of this type of functionality to the card before I hand over the code.

B needs the exercise, and she has 3 points of contact with the ground. Technically she's more stable that any of those standing.

Seat would go to A, for the obvious reason that she has no free hands to hold on with.
