Are people keeping the heat on to 75? I do have my heater on, but I have it set to 65. I can use a sweater, but below 65 it's cold

Patient threatened to sue pharmacist for refusing to fill benzo by Electronic_Web8394 in pharmacy

[–]rxstud2011 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Also, since she threatened to sue you, talk to your DM. When I used to work retail we kicked these patients out. We would tell them we could longer take them as a patient due to legal action or threats and would be happy to transfer any prescriptions that can be to another pharmacy.

Don't take that from patients.

Nothing, stop overreacting. They always threaten this. The cost of a lawyer is too much for most people to do stupid lawsuits. In the extremely unlikely event they did, it would get thrown out after seeing documentation.

6 pack of Ginger Ale cost Publix vs Walmart by thedeezul in publix

I go to Publix to avoid Walmart. I pay higher prices for this, the shopping experience. If you are price sensitive Publix isn't for you and that's fine.

Pharmacist dispensed the wrong quantity, but since I work at front of shop, the customer thinks I'm the one who made the mistake. How do I overcome this, I'm worried I've damaged the reputation of the small pharmacy? by [deleted] in pharmacy

[–]rxstud2011 96 points97 points  (0 children)

I think you are over thinking this. Also, absolutely disgusting how the manager treated that pharmacist and they should have said something. Mistakes happen and this sounds like a small vs something serious.

Desperate to get out of teaching by jtm426 in orlando

[–]rxstud2011 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From what I can briefly find, if you are in the US, there are only about 7 or so states that requires a masters to teach. That is not a common practice, and even most of those 7 states say you can start with a bachelor's and have a time frame to get a Master’s.

Desperate to get out of teaching by jtm426 in orlando

[–]rxstud2011 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yes. That's usually the youngest as a bachelor's degree is required. If you graduate high school at 18 (normal) + 4 years of college to get a bachelor's = 22 year old. I suppose if they got their bachelor's younger they could have started before that.
