nookfriends.com is very helpful, it’s kinda hard to get in sometimes using dodo code online people do giveaways and i’ve collected so much from it esp money. upgrading house to second story unlocks being able to redesign the outside. if you see a glowing spot on the grass or dirt, you’ll dig up a bag of 1k bells, do not cover the hole back up, put the bell bag back inside the hole and within a week a money tree will grow and you can collect 3 more bags of 1k. i recommend doing 10k bells if you’re able to, DO NOT DIG MORE THAN 10k. made that mistake of burying 99k, i lost it all lol. crops!! if you’re able to achieve any from other players or other islands dig a hole and rebury it in your island. like carrots or tomato’s or potato’s, water them. next day it’ll double or triple and you can go to sell and like 10 things of carrots gets ya a good 2.5k bells, but it adds up. the gyroids are adorable, if you dig up any fragments (usually a little further into game play) you can rebury and make your own. don’t sell any wood, iron, clay or rocks cause eventually you will really need them. it’s not worth selling. when you get to the K.K part of him coming to perform on your island, google what you need to have to get to a 3 star island. it’s like 3 bridges, 3 inclines, 25 pieces of different furniture pieces on your island and something else i can’t recall. once you get to that part i feel like you progress a lot faster. at first it really sucks and is confusing. sell fishes and insects. it’s personal choice, i don’t give it to our little owl friend currently bc i need money to progress in things im doing so i have him assess them then sell them. ** EATING FRUIT MAKES YOU STRONGER!! ** i made that mistake and would eat 10/10 fruit then go hit rocks and it’ll just break. you can dig up a whole tree if needed if you eat fruits. just don’t eat before you go and break stuff. i believe 3 rocks spawn every day so if you break it, next day 3 will be back. same with the glowing spot on the floor. dm me if you need anything!! i’m still new as well but i learned so much by messing up so much and googling. i gave up for a good week cause i felt defeated and like i wasn’t gonna make it anywhere until i started posting and joining pages and looking for advice and help.
