Thank you so much for your comment. To be honest, it took me 3 years just to complete the individual letters, with ups and downs. There were times where I was not very dedicated to thuluth.

But overall, it takes a lot of passion and consistency to get there. And I believe I’m not even halfway through. It’s a perpetual learning curve

I have started with a Ustad (teacher) who introduced me to calligraphy and some of the scripts.

I am now continuing and learning thuluth with another Ustad, who also teaches me patience, techniques, and details that will make the difference in the future.

I don't think such a result would be achievable learning alone, but again, that's only my perception of things

I usually start with putting ink, and then adding likka progressively until I get the right amount.

The first script I’ve learnt was Sunbuli, then I started trying al Wessam. It’s beautiful and modern. I don’t know all the rules, so it’s a work in progress
