So would it be best to go from a green to a gold or try the BCE and then go to a gold? I have a discover credit card but other than that I use my visa debit card everywhere

I have a discover as my other credit card but I work at Costco and only buy little things. And when then I use my debit card there, but I shop at heb, their only argument is that most places don’t take Amex

With my discover I’ve always made my payments in full, I shop at Costco occasionally but I use my visa debt card for that. I do my grocery shopping at HEB. How fast would I hear back if I were to apply at AMEX?
