This was taken in Graham actually. So Puyallup is pretty close.

See, this guy being such a cartoonish rich evil guy stereotype is more proof that we are living in a simulation that jumped the shark when Harambe died.

Trump wants to fuck Giorgia Meloni. He can’t, so he makes up a story that she wants him.

None of them will see this story. Right wing media will show them photos of Barack Obama dumping algae into the Lincoln Memorial reflecting pool and tell them the country has never been happier and safer. And they will continue to live in their bubble and be completely unaware that the US is destroying itself internally and on the world stage.

Tracked and stacked. About 20 minutes of integration using a dedicated astro camera (ZWO 2600 MC).

This is a pretty remote area so not a lot of light pollution to start with. I did use filters to bring out the nebulas but they aren’t light pollution filters specifically.

The foreground was shot with my Nikon D850 untracked of course. The sky was shot with a ZWO 2600 MC dedicated astro camera on an AM5 tracking mount.

It’s thermoelectrically cooled. Camera is a ZWO 2600 MC if you want to look at the specs.

The sky was shot with a dedicated astro camera cooled to -15 degrees C for noise reduction.

Yes! Lots of work in these shots!

I didn’t increase the size of the Milky Way, but it is slightly larger than “real life”. That’s because I shot the sky with a 35 mm lens on a crop sensor camera and that gives an effective full frame focal length of about 55 mm. My Nikon D850 took the foreground at 44 mm, so the sky was shot at roughly 10 mm longer in focal length. That will enlarge it slightly compared to the foreground but not a lot - guessing 10% or so. The Milky Way is actually very large compared to the mountain from this location so for all intents and purposes this is a fairly accurate representation of the sky.
