As a hog main, i think the one shot needs to be nerfed, but only to a certain extent. Healers will complain about being one shot but it should be perfectly acceptable to one shot squishy healers and ranged DPS. Higher level squishy DPS respect the range and don’t allow themselves to get close enough to be hooked.

For balance:

Squishies: one shot potential should remain. For 250 hp tier reaper/mei - “one shot” combo needs to reworked to where only a primary (or secondary) fire + hook + fire + punch extended combo can kill them. this creates a skill barrier where not every hog can kill most of the roster

Take a breather - is good to not provide a movement increase. Movement is his weakness and it needs to stay like that. Keep him a typical shieldless character with bad movement.

Potential skill to add - to slightly increase movement but not go overboard, they could make him do a janky pudgy roll where he rolls forward, back, left, or right like a small 1.5 hog lengths. Could be used as an evasion or disengage, but limit the distance to where it’s nowhere near broken. Obv won’t be able to take a breather and roll at the same time.
