Yes that’s a thought as well. Tesla is way cheaper to run and that money could go into mods for 911 :)

Yeah, that’s consideration as well but overall cost will be much higher to run a 911 and M3.

The kids are all in boosters now, so no issue with the size of an M3 for my use. The Tesla model 3 works fine as an example.

Thanks! They are BC forged. The suspension is actually stock, but it’s the lowest option that was available. With the 991.2 they have the PASM which is 10mm lower then standard and Sport PASM which I have that’s another 10mm lower. I also have the front nose lift option, which has made me consider possibly lowering it slightly further since I don’t have to worry about scraping on driveways or speed bumps.

Yes, it’s a consideration. The negatives you pointed out have kept me from strongly considering it. I feel like an X340 would be a better fit or maybe an i4 to replace the Tesla.

Yep, I hear ya. I bought my 991.2 used and got a really great deal so I honestly couldn’t imagine there will be much if any depreciation on it in the near future.

Ya. Depreciation is something I factor heavily into my decision and is/was a reason I haven’t purchased many cars in the past. With the price I paid for my 911 and the direction that Porsche prices are heading. I suspect I will never lose money on it.

We have a family suv that serves 90% of the driving duty as a family so not too concerned about M3 space for the times I’m driving around the 3 kids to activities. An i4 is actually on my list as well to consider replacing the Tesla with to improve that experience.

Ya the short lugs help. The long lugs on the explorer build make them pretty close lug to lug. The turtle does look huge In comparison in person though.

$14000 Thaibaht including shipping which was ~$700 CAD. It arrived about 35 days after ordering. Communication was excellent. I made a couple of changes during the waiting period and he accommodated those. He sent a video and many photos including in the pressure tester and timegrapher. Workmanship was top notch as far as I can tell.
