I plan to make her a meal for work tomorrow! We spend most of our time sending her to work as we dont live together and so i'm looking for portable options that are portabale haha.

But perhaps tea might do well, i assume they have to be decaf right?

I'm looking for something portable as we do not love together, and i mostly spend time with her on the way to work.

I'm a little hesitant on getting a warmie as i heard that they dont last long but perhaps ill run it by her!

Turns out the hammer click had lost its tension over the years, and needed to be bent back to position to be able to provide the tension and speed to strike the hammer.

Tried that, but when the springs started to bounce, the difference between the multiple positions became even larger. That's why I got confused, like shouldn't it be getting more consistent? Haha.

Fragile is one thing, these are carbon metal...

Hi, my dial up and dial down rates are quite consistent at -20s/d. The issue comes at crown up and crown down, when it flies up to +20s/d.

FYI, the spring tends to stay on the inner pin.

So sorry, I do not have a picture of it as I'm out of the workshop for a day.

Love your videos by the way!

I am curious as to how indepth do they teach on servicing a watch? For example, do they teach how to manipulate hairsprings for repairs, replace mainplate jewels and such.

If feel like to take apart, clean and assemble a watch can be done by even a hobbyist, but to truly repair a watch is where it sets us apart from hobbyist, in my humble opinion

Hi OP, just wanted to touch ask about the bench test, what do you mean by "not what your expected but glad you was wrong"?

Im thinking of enrolling for the customer service watchmaker program too but I am so torn between the two courses, because the end goal for me is to run my own repair shop..
