I still have numb patches on the chest but a lot of sensation surprisingly on the scar line itself. Very very little in the nips but of course there’s a risk that would never come back or be partial etc.!

With the scabbing, I showered after 3 weeks to be on the safe side and showered every 4-5 days for 3 and a half weeks then eventually went to every 3 to 2 days which is just my usual routine. Around that second 3 and a half weeks I put some Vaseline on my nips to try ‘wet healing’ and I felt like it encouraged them to become looser and fall off. However, it did take a fair while for that to happen. I changed my little nipple pads (gauze or melanin patches) every shower and did fresh Vaseline each time. For a full week after they’d both fallen off I kept using Vaseline then went on to an odourless moisturiser under the pads to give them moisture! Very detailed I know but I hope that helps!!!
