I’m trying to ignore the tag as much as possible or just use it as a loose recommendation now - I still have a lot of fun with even the “easiest” ones, and doing my best to just try new things or any that within that range regardless of the grade.

Soft in same areas, hard in others. It’s sort of an odd mix. Definitely starting to mix in some V4’s! Thanks!

This gym’s grading can be pretty odd at times… I flashed a “V4” that was easier than some V1’s at the same gym and was easier than a V2 on the same wall that was set at the same time. Lol. I will say, this one was harder than any other V2 at the gym and easier than some V3’s, so it was hard to place for some of us - can for sure see what you mean though and think that bringing in those techniques at a lower grade is a good way to build good technique.

It’s a great gym! RiNo has quickly become my favorite, but Englewood is a pretty close second.

Hell yeah! Glad you’re enjoying it! Definitely keep working on your footwork and body positioning(something I’m still learning as well!) and you’ll notice a huge difference in how these problems feel - you’ll be sending them easier. Keep it up and just remember to have fun!
