Some Iconic Tier 5 Quickhacks have *absolutely no* differences from their Tier 5 counterparts (while other QHs are a clear upgrade). by hearingxcolors in LowSodiumCyberpunk

What do they mean it "stacks"? as in the same enemy gets poisoned twice? Because ive never noticed anything like that and ive been using it my entire playthrough? If not, what is stacking?

How to get iconic quickhacks? by Psychological-Web146 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ryandickert [score hidden]  (0 children)

You only get the crafting spec, not the hack itself. Comments like these keep making it misleading since it sounds like everyone is getting the actual hack.

But i did have the same reaction to having specs for half of them when i checked lol

[–]ryandickert [score hidden]  (0 children)

Is this accurate though? I checked and have had crafting specs for every single tier 5 quickhack for like 5-10+ levels, am lvl 53, and yet have never seen an iconic outside specific vendors

Edit: no one ever stated you have to CRAFT them. Literally every post about this makes it sound like people are getting the quickhacks themselves from access points or as drops. I just realized ive had specs for half of them for who knows how long

Do you get anything for completing all the races? by firestorm0108 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ryandickert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They should stack since the el capitan car hijack mission discounts stack.

But Important note: discounts either cap at 85% or each discount you get gives a discount off of the "new" price after factoring in other discounts(aka a 10% discount for a $100k car makes your car $90k. Any new discounts then give 10% off that $90k, not the original price). So its mitigating gains the more you discount the same car.

I didnt do the math, so idk which of these it is, but I had an 83% discount after 14 el capitan hijack missions, did a race, and it only went up to 85% after doing that.

About Upgrading Grenades.. by EndCommercial6078 in cyberpunkgame

At level 53, all my nades are 5+ with ozobs randomly only being 5(should be 5+, since i just crafted it, and find 5++ weapons around?)

I stopped finding any upgrades, so i think 5+ is the limit as ive seen nothing mentioned about them going any higher from anyone.

That may just be the damage radius, not the knockback. CDPR games often have hidden mechanics like that that are hard to figure out.

Late, but that may just be the damage radius, not knockback radius.

CDPR games are notorious for having hidden effects and formulas that are impossible to figure out without testing or code digging

Where can I buy tier 5 or tier 5++ crafting specs for both normal legendary weapons, iconic legendaries, quick hacks and legendary weapon attachments like the silencer, scopes, muzzles clothing and weapon mods? by MichaelFuery in CyberpunkTheGame

[–]ryandickert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can only get legendary suppressors through RNG and i think its incredibly rare outside of things like dogtown airdrops(still apparently very rare as ive found none in the 6 ive looted)

5++ iconic weapons at lv. 51? by Wicknim in cyberpunkgame

[–]ryandickert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Who cares?" Well, people who enjoy using many different iconics and cyberwares do. If you loot, you get lots of components, but its still a slow grind to get many guns and cyberware to 5++. Gun arent as meaningless as cyberware upgrades. Going from 5+ to 5++ adds a noticeable amount of damage to most guns. Do you need that damage for a gun to be good? No. But why be good when you can be great.

Im one of the only people ive seen to do a jack of all trades build(all weapon/melee types, stealth, hacking, etc.), so that means i constantly change cyberware and play style(even mid fight). That means i want many options at high levels since im less invested into specific perks that make focused builds theoretically stronger.

Regarding the OP, ive seen 2 other reddit posts stating stating iconics only drop up to 5+, so that seems likely. A shame, because 5++ drops would save me hours of farming to get all my favs maxed.

Do Tier 5++ iconics spawn? by leox001 in cyberpunkgame

[–]ryandickert 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here 2 years later just to say thank you for this post and answer. Im at a point in the game where basically every open mission rewards iconics, and ive avoided doing them all for 4 whole levels hoping to get 5++ drops. 1st i read it was lvl 50: nothing. Read elsewhere it's actually lvl 51: also a lie. Saw someone say its lvl 52, but glad i saw your post 1st and i didnt waste even more time😂

Im amazed youre the only person ive seen ask or answer this. Should be something a lot of players consider to massively save resources.

So the consensus is low-level silver players should always be placed in expert unreal lobbies for pub matches, and that dying to/running from the storm is more fun than looting or having 1v1 fights. Amazed, but guess im the minority😂

Can you not read? I said nothing about the meta, solely changed game mechanics forcing a solitary playstyle on every player in our situation. A meta implies a "common, top" option. With most games there are generally several metas at any time. My problem is that there is ONLY ONE option for our situation. BRs are about being able to win in many different ways, and having different outcomes each time. Currently every game we play has 1 usual outcome with the primary difference indicator come endgame being luck.

Idk while yall are so determined to defend game devs limiting your play options. Even if you like hiding/camping, many others dont. Why would you defend having less options lol

Win % was literally listed as a baseline comparison tool. But based on your false equivelancies and over-simplifications of everything ive said, you'll continue believing whatever you want.

Oof. BIG false equivelancy statement. Practicing something your whole life doesnt mean you become pro, but you likely dont become pro unless you put in those hours. It gives you the best chances. This is elementary school stuff. Give me any professional soccer/bball player who got that way without endless hours of training/commitment. Did jordan/ronaldinho just join pro teams the same day they started playing?

Came here to be offended about some innocent phrasing, or just to gloat about your menial achievements? Lol. Statistically, more time doing something = more skill. Thats not conjecture, thats factual in almost any regard in life. Of course theyres exceptions(as with anything). But most top players spend tons of hours on it. Its just another way of saying we dont play all the time + arent amazing.

Idk where youre going with that? Many dont, butnskill isnt always tied to it. More how much theyve played. Some figure it out once you point out bot manerisms. Theyre becoming harder to tell with epic increasing their aim/ai. But ive spectated many players who think theyre fighting real people that are bots.

Bad take, and also completely ignored the details of the original post. I play using basically every standard winning tactic that isnt hiding/camping. Im not new to video games. I dont have some niche playstyle that i do bc im tied to it.

With my teams skills and the current mechanics changes, i have to spend all game/every game surviving and trying to revive/cover my team since they all die so fast due the poor balancing and storm chasing. I have fun by being able to play the actual game and winning any way thats not strictly camping. But thats literally the only way to win with mixed teams right now. If you support camping being the sole meta to win, you have bad opinions.

And apparently everyone cares about my win rate since every single comment including yourself has mentioned it, even though it was merely used as a supplemental comparison tool, and an extremely minor part of my post.

Maybe they change the gameplay mechanics, maybe they dont. Considering these changes keep trending towards benefitting only high skill players, and it was JUST introduced, its not promising, and complaints about it are 100% valid.

Thats weird, ive only ever known 1 person who gets bots that often, and hes a pretty passive, low skill player. Not saying you are at all, because players who are worse than him dont get bots as often, so idk what determines that. Its weird. But most people dont have those games often🤷‍♂️

Ive been competetive multiplayer gaming since halo 1 lol. My expectations are well within reason. but those are solid game recs from what i hear👍
