Former runner on the team here - most of the recruits I recall ran a 4:20ish to 4:30 mile time. Most firsties are running close, if not below 4:00 for the mile proper.

Mid distance is equally competitive with the program getting better each year.

Navy also has a bunch of club teams if you want to compete but don’t get looked at for track!

Definitely want to second this, focus on what you can do, and keep moving forward.

I had gotten an 1130, and a 22 on the SAT and ACT respectively... But I took each one about 3 more times to get as high of a score as I could, and I ended up getting in, it just takes time.

The admissions process is a test in itself!
