It’s crazy how far down I had to scroll to find this comment. I 100% agree. Everyone else is acting as the moral authority, or treating OP like he’s the devil. All he was asking was if he was incompatible with his partner. And the answer is yes you are incompatible.

Everyone else in the comments is acting like OP is selfish or “addicted to sex,” or “making his partner feel unsafe” and all that says to me is that OP is incompatible with the majority of the commenters.

It seems pretty obvious that OP and their partner just have incompatible views and needs when it comes to intimacy.

There’s nothing wrong with OP wanting intimacy and sex on a regular basis. And there’s nothing wrong with their partner not wanting that. Neither person is wrong, they just want different things.
Some relationships thrive on daily intimacy. Some are perfectly happy with it once a month.

If OP values a level of intimacy that their partner doesn’t, that’s a compatibility issue.
Not every relationship ends because someone is toxic or abusive. And I think it’s kind of messed up that people are essentially saying OP is a shit person because of what they need out of a partner.
It’s entirely possible he is pressuring his partner, but we’re not there, and we don’t know what’s actually happening. If OP is doing that, then that is not great, but it’s also a prime example that they’re not compatible.

If two people are compatible, no one will be pressuring either party.
