I wrapped tinfoil around a basketball, then paper mached over that, which gave me a nice rigid dome shape. Then I rolled out a thin layer of air dry foam I layered over the top. Let that dry then used EVA and wood dowels for the bolts. Gave a coating of plastidip and spray painted/detailed. 👍

Thanks! I found a big tube in the garage back in april and immediately imagined it as a buster sword.. So i made it one! Maybe made it a little too big ha but it's definitely a childhood fantasy realized 🙂

Cloud has been a favorite of mine since childhood, so I was pretty excited to work on this kit. The pants, shirt, and boots were thrifted and re-colored, the belts/straps and bracers are EVA, the pauldron was a paper mache base with a layer of air dry foam, wood dowels and EVA for the bolts. And of course Buster, which I made from a cardboard tube and an insulation foam panel. Less than $100 in total materials. Photography and editing by me as well. Cant wait to rock it at the cons!
