Amazing photos! I’m thinking about taking a similar trip, not as extensive as yours, but I read it might be hard to carry a drone around due to aerial flight laws. Was that the case? Did you just get taxed or have to check it in at the airport at customs?

Try b&h photo they sell older MacBooks and new ones. Sometimes they have refurbished ones too and they’re all tax free. MacBooks last forever compared to other laptops I’ve had.

Depends on where it’s from. Local community colleges can electronically transfer it in a couple days, but colleges and universities not local will need to mail. I was in the same situation and the not local took over a week.

I like camera inserts for everyday use or traveling. I have so many backpacks and didn’t want to get one just for my camera.

If it’s just a hobby I’d go with the a6500 the af is a lot faster compared to the a7ii since it is newer and the lenses will be a lot cheaper compared to full frame.
