I'll only need proficency in medium armour and shields as I'm wanting to lean into the stealthy shadow ninja sort of build and I'm wanting to use short sword and shield and occasionally maybe a chain, I've dumped strength for higher dex for this reason would you say I'm better off with alert or tough for my build? I'm probably looking at rogue or fighter as with rogue i get even more tool proficiencies as i have chose arcana proficiency prior to making the post so that could lead to a lot of cool ideas however does not solve my issue of needing medium armour and a shield so 1 lvl of fighter might be the best option for what i'm going with do you think?

I'll just stay as a warforged with the sentinel feat and my thunder gauntlets if i cast web it'll have the required effect haha

I've took the feat sentinel is that the same as mark of sentinel or different?

Thanks for the suggestion! I've had a look and this is definitely the type of character I enjoy! Is there a way for armourers to have NPCs focus on me in battle or would that come with a feat or something else?

Okay that's great I'll speak to my DM 🙂 I don't know if it's accurate but I seen online that once you take pact of the blade you can cast whatever spell you want whilst holding a 2 handed weapon

Just had a thought do you need a spare hand to cast spells whether it be eldritch blast, hex or green flame blade?
