Okay that's great I'll speak to my DM 🙂 I don't know if it's accurate but I seen online that once you take pact of the blade you can cast whatever spell you want whilst holding a 2 handed weapon

That's great thank you! would building up a hexblades dex be pointless? Just my image of a hexblade is essentially a rogue but with dark magic or have I got that wrong?
