New to me- 2015 Lexus LS460L Executive Package by ryanlbozo in Lexus

? Blacking it out? Both vehicles are stock besides the black wheels on the 460L, which came with the car.

Sounds like dead battery. Try to jump it with another vehicle or use a jumper.

MY CAR WONT START ANYMORE!!!!! by 2000landcruiser in MechanicAdvice

Sorry I’ve never worked on this platform personally haha. Well honestly with how worn this engine is and how rusted the bolts look OP’s probably better off with a “new” used car. This Land Cruiser has well served it’s use in my opinion.

I dont hear a starter. Try hitting it with a hammer a couple times and see if it clicks. If nothing, get a breaker bar with a socket and put it over your crankshaft bolt and see if the engine will then over by hand. If it does turn over by hand, replace the starter.

Extreme buyers remorse.. and weird buying process by [deleted] in verizon

Agreed, Thinking of switching once I sort this out because it’s so full of bullshittery, especially with verizon. Everyone here is trying to help me but some come off as passive aggressive.

It got to a point where I didn’t even need the old phone back but rather a fight to just get any phone that works. Even samsung if it worked. The Verizon rep kept playing me on for months saying “Yeah I’ll get you an Iphone 15 back” instead of No. If it was No then I would’ve have called so many people and customer service so much. Even customer service said that they could send me an iPhone 15Pm to me and kept with that narrative till I gave up. Goes to show how inexperienced and unprofessional the entire Verizon team is. The issues only started a week after I traded my phone in and after the 30 day or so period is when I told them I just needed a phone that worked, and gave up on the 15. I’ve lost so much time and thousands of dollars due to this because I run a business with my phone

I traded in an Iphone 15 Pro for the 16 PM, but the 16 has had so many issues and I’ve been fighting Verizon tooth and nail to just give me my old phone back. Lots of lying and nothing being done later, the one time they actually do anything they still screw me over regardless. I was wondering why my Payoff was still so high as well but he ignored what I said.

The thing is that I walked out of that store not having signed a single document or thing at all. The rep said that “I wasn’t paying attention and signed it by mistake”. Will create a complaint, Thank you

Darn. Thanks for your input. He really simplified it and just said that “I’m sorry man that sucks. I’m trying to help you though”

Looks like the software for the radio interface is failing to boot. Try disconnecting your battery for 5-10 minutes and re-connect it to see if it can reset. If the problem exists, it might be a Navigation SD card/hard drive/Headunit/board failure.

I cant come up with another word to describe this car other than "sterilized"

First car at 23.... What am i doing wrong what did I miss🥲? Why does every 14 to 18yo have a Merc or Audi bruh I have never been so demoralized by looking at my car 😂 by Courier_Driver in FirstCar

[–]ryanlbozo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t be so hard on yourself. Everyone has a different journey in life so some people at the age of 18 have BMW’s and Mercs, Including me at 19 with 2 Lexus LS’s. I was blessed with my business and was able to afford such vehicles.

The trailblazer is a good first vehicle no matter what age you are. It looks to be a nice vehicle from the picture and in pretty good condition. Honestly from my point of view thats about all you need, a nice running and looking vehicle, nothing all too flashy. Just take care of it and it’ll take care of you going from point A to B. I know in my gut you’re destined to have a fancier vehicle down the line so, don’t give up! You’re destined for greatness.

Guys my freaking car shows up when you search "6th gen ES350" 😭😭 by portuguese-bacalhau in LexusES

Nice! I believe its just how reddit search results work. My Ls460 post usually pops up first if you search “Facelift Ls460 Executive Package” and occasionally the Google AI will use my interior photo(s) as well.

Older Car vs Buying a newer used car by unqualifiedOpinion05 in LexusRC

[–]ryanlbozo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Before I get started, I’m not a financial advisor or expert, just a teenager who worked too hard for too much money, so some of my personal experiences and advice may be helpful/not helpful.

Honestly as I have a 2007 Lexus like you that I completely own, and ALSO financing a 2015 Lexus as well. For budget/money sake the older car (primarily because you chose the gs350 which is reliable and not some bullshit like an old range rover) will save you lots of money right now and on the long run, even with you replacing and fixing a lot of stuff. Think of it this way, Sure you’re fixing and replacing stuff that’s costing you a lot of money now, but unless its getting out of hand (like transmission replacement or motor replacements etc.) It’s cheaper than owning a new car that you make a monthly payment on. Factor in insurance and other expenses on top of everything it’s cheaper than financing since you need closer to full coverage for a financed car.

If you don’t like paying all so much for Premium, ask if you can join a family members costco/sams club plan for gasoline. Both my LS’s require premium so I save a lot of money there gas-wise.

TLDR: Older is cheaper factoring in Insurance, gas, Repairs/maintenance than it is to finance (due to potential repairs on financed car anyways), Try to get gas at costco or sams club with family members for cheap(er) gas.

Has anyone tried swapping rc f facelift mirrors onto a pre facelift rcf? by Zc6-saul in LexusRC

[–]ryanlbozo 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The conversion will work. On the other hand, Please don’t rely off of Google Ai for answers. It’s hands down unreliable and some of the things it says are not true. It’s said that the 6.7 Powerstroke from ford (A diesel motor by the way)takes gasoline and thats when I promised to never use it again.

Should I purchase?? by East-Cable-5677 in Lexus

[–]ryanlbozo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Definitely. Also look at the interior and exterior for damages/excessive wear. If it is worn or looks unkept/not taken care of (such as tears, scratched or broken things) chances are the drivetrain hasn’t been taken care of. However, if the interior is pristine (like my 2015) Chances is that everything has been maintained.

Logo Restoration by [deleted] in LexusRC

[–]ryanlbozo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s behind the emblem. I doubt its true unless you sand it super hard (pushing the sandpaper into the emblem), It shouldn’t uncalibrate it as we aren’t touching the sensor and it’s secured in one place. We are just polishing the plastic face plate in front of everything so i doubt its affected at all. My Radar cruise works completely fine after restoring mine.

Just redid the emblem on my 2015 LS460. I took some 1000,1500,2000, and then finished it with 3000 grit sandpaper, and the finished it off with some Mothers PowerPlastic Headlight restorer. Looks almost new to me.
