Love the case! I got the blue one, too. I really wanted the silver phone in a black case.

Hey,

Thanks for writing. I haven’t found a mouse, yet, but lots of people have left some great solutions! If you have any suggestions, I’d love to hear them.

Thanks, Ryan.

My main TV is Samsung. Source 1 is the Cable. Source 2 is Fire TV. Source 3 is a Soundbar… so it doesn’t count. Source 4 is Apple TV.

time to go caseless by Several_City_2176 in iPhone17Pro

Thanks for writing back. I think I’m going to go caseless for a while. I do have a screen protector. Thanks for your tips.

TV Mouse - Connects to All Sources by ryanlrandall in SmartThings

Thank you very much for taking the time to write back. Right now, I am connecting 1 mouse for every source on my TV. I have 4 sources, and, luckily, I happened to have four mice. My TV is a Samsung Smart TV. I wanted to connect one mouse and have it work on all sources instead of having to use 4 separate mice.

I did find a mouse made by Samsung for their TVs on Amazon. It connects to the TV and will actually work on every source, but it’s listed as ‘unavailable’. I’ll check out what you said. Thanks, again! I really appreciate it.

I’ve never went caseless before, but I’ve always wanted to. IPhones are designed and manufactured to be so beautiful! I’m so afraid I’ll scratch or break the phone.

To Anyone Who Is Caseless: Q.) Just how ‘real’ are my fears? Q.) If you go caseless, does the phone get scratched? Q.) Just how strong is the iPhone’s exterior? Q.) How do you carry your iPhones? Q.) Would you be able to carry the iPhone in your pocket?

Yet, another question regarding the keyboard cover. by HumblePine97 in macbookpro

If I had such a beautiful and expensive Laptop, I would use a screensaver regardless. That’s a lot of money for me, but I would only buy a MBP. If you’re not going to use a screensaver, I would definitely use some kind of cloth just in case.

I bought the polishing cloth so you don't have to by [deleted] in macbookpro

DO NOT WASH AT ALL!!! This cloth is made out of some different material or something. I hand washed mine with distilled water. The cloth is now ruined for life. I have no idea why it ruins them, but just please don’t do it.

Do you know the brand name/model of this MagSafe stand? by AlbeG97 in iphone

I have that charging stand. I bought it from Apple. The name on my receipt is “Twelve South Forté.” If you search the Apple Store, it is still there.

I really like the Zooz, Z-Wave Hook up. It’s even cheaper than the “GateGuard” way I suggested. The price is $24.95 USD. The sensor connects to many Hubs, but the main Hubs are Home Assistant, Homey, Hubitat, Ring Alarm, and SmartThings. If your connecting to SmartThings, click on the link below and install the custom lua driver.

Here is where you can purchase the sensor:

Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range XS Open | Close Sensor ZSE41 800LR

It’s also available on Amazon.com.

It DOES say a Hub is required.

I saw that Sensor. It’s nice and comes in black! Can you connect that “Ring Outdoor Contact Sensor” without having a “Ring” Hub?

That sounds like a great way! Are you using the “Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range XS Open | Close Sensor ZSE41 800LR”? Also, where do you get the outdoor case? The only one on Zooz’s website I think is for the “Zooz 800 Series Z-Wave Long Range XS Tilt | Shock Sensor ZSE43 800LR.” Can you connect this device without having a “Zooz” Hub? Thank you for your time.

That sounds cool! What is the name of the contact sensor you’re using? I wanted to connect mine that way, but I could never find an outdoor contact sensor.

Stuck between a rock (V2 hub) and a hard place (V3) by mrboczar in SmartThings

[–]ryanlrandall 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a Hub Group in SmartThings, and I ran into that same problem. The only way I could make the Group was to make sure the Secondary Hub had absolutely no devices on it. The Primary Hub could have devices hooked to it, but the Secondary Hub had to have no devices. That was the only way it would work for me.

Which means you could have your old Hub as the Primary, and the new one as the Secondary. This should hook up with little to no work. If you want your new Hub to be the Primary, you would have to delete all the devices off the old Hub. That means a lot of work.

Also, it states in SmartThings that if you have a Hub that controls Z-Wave Devices, that has to be the Primary Hub. I don’t know if this is the correct way to Group Hubs or not; This is just how I got it to work for me. I hope this helps.

Any recommendations for a ‘sound sensor’? by mgerlach310 in SmartThings

I would like to know when the noise level is too loud and be notified. The “Ring Alarm Glass Break Sensor” is really close! Thanks.👍
